I dont see the point. All it does is make the mods at rank 1 cost more individually.
yes but X amount of rp is going to the 9L research modification when it could go somewhere else. Say you unlock 9L’s are you gonna trade 6 or whatever 9L’s for the default 2x9M & 2x120C5? and you’re gonna have to research the 9L to ge the 7P, 9M and 120B/C. Instead of just researching one tier I modification like chaff/flare, you have to research the 9L and chaff/flare.
Thats fair i suppose, but it also means that flare/chaff will be more expensive to research in the first place. At this rank its probably going to be a 2-3k rp difference.
yes but you would still be researching more RP worth of mods in Tier I if you had to research 9L and Chaff/Flare versus if you just had to research chaff/flare.
Hmm… whether they can be mounted on the outer of the 3 is unknown and I would be semi on the fence with that.
Probably at most 16, as there is mockups of SPICE-250 ER on the middle pylon for the Typhoon EK
But 8x Spice-250 is fine for now, though maybe SAL Brimstone 2s or GNSS Spear-3s on the other pylons would be useful
Idk. Those first few games without chaff are absolutely brutal at top tier. you’re basically food. Id rather have to research more in the long run than have to grind more for chaff in the beginning.

yeah exactly, so now you can research chaff/flare then move on to Tier II mods, getting closer to AIM-120 mod, making you more effective
