If the F/A-18F is added later with the engine upgraded to the F414-GE-EPE, it will likely encounter the same Battle Rating issues. If I recall correctly, the main difference between the F/A-18E and F/A-18F is that one is a single-seater and the other is a two-seater.
It seems the current empty mass is taken from this Gripen N spec sheet instead of the Gripen E one. This sheet is from 2007, years before the first pre-production Gripen E was even made.
yeah, for the f i would say that the engines might be required but I suspect we would more likely see the growler rather than the F as we haven’t gotten the f16d f15d or b and I would honestly be fine if a two seater variant got the engine sadly the hornets will always suffer regardless of engine simply due to 16v16 shenanigans

I remain reserved about whether the F/A-18E’s eventual power level will be too low, because initially I didn’t think the F/A-18C was strong, but in practice, I found its handling felt better than the F-15E and it received better radar. My only dissatisfaction is that it did not receive new air-to-ground ordnance.

yeah when it comes to small lobbies like the dev I have found the F/A-18E more enjoyable than the C f15 or 18, the problem is when it then has to play in the Meta especially at 14.3 it doesn’t have the HOB’s performance to compete with the rafale, Su series, j10. and cant fit in to the BVR role like the F15E, EFT or the even the new Su30SM2. nor the energy retention to deal with the constant threats of Toptier match sizes.
yeah if it had a bit more focus put on its A2G capabilities I would use the C for at least ground, ill admit even though the mavericks are pretty atrocious i am quite excited to play with 6 AGM65F, plus they could easily add so many more A2G munitions for the US
The biggest problem with the Maverick is its slow speed and lack of IOG If it loses the target, it self-destructs. As suggested previously, the addition of the AGM-154C and the GBU-53/B StormBreaker could significantly enhance air-to-ground capabilities
yeah definitely needs more IR guided munitions they don’t have to be the same type of ground ordinance as the the kh39 or 38 but like I would love the AGM-154C and GBU-53 and would even be fine with a limited loadout of them.

I saw today that they added the SPICE 250 to the Typhoon’s loadout. This is a good sign. Maybe I will also receive new IR weapons

To be fair did the LIRCCM ever make it to the full variant or was it just apart of the T-10 or 50 whatever the protype models were called before.
My guy C-8s aren’t in the game, so if they get added to the Gripen E they would also need to be added to all EFTs, 14.0+ F/A-18s, F-16I, all 14.0+ F-15s etc.
