People fail to understand that Gripen is a light multirole fighter while Eurofighter, Rafale or F-15 are heavy air superiority fighters. Its not being outclassed because its bad but because the fighters its fighting in game are exactly of a different class entirely.
I really dont understand these constant direct comparisons with other Eurocanards when vehicles of similar class such as F-16, MiG-29, J-10, Mirage 2000, etc. are already there but people just ignore them completely.

because in game it means very little to be a light vs heavy multi role fighter, especially when those “heavy” multirole fighters can out manoeuvrer most light fighters, carry more weapons and are faster thus having better BVR as well
like saying the gripen E is the best light fighter isnt wrong but also means literally nothing in the context of warthunder where cost of an airframe means nothing

I forgot to comment of how fixated people are on proving Gripen E is on pair or even better than Typhoon, Rafale or other air superiority fighters.
AlsoI did say in my previous comment that Gripen is getting and will continue being outclassed in game but thats why we have BR ratings afterall.

@Smin1080p_WT Will you guys be adressing the fact that the top tier aircraft of the USA is nowhere near as powerful as other nations such as Russia, France, Germany, Britain, Italy, and now Japan? The AIM-120’s carried by the F-15C GE and F/A-18E are miles behind missiles like the R-77-1, MICA-EM ect. The planes also outclassed in every other way including manouverability and speed (excluding the SU-30 from this category) by Eurofighter’s and Rafale’s. I don’t see how adding a Super hornet that is slower/fatter than the Legacy hornet at a higher BR helps the nation. I am hoping to see the F-15C Flight model buff at the minimum if you guys actually want the plane to be somewhat playable against the others.
i think the reson is due to added missiles, and better radar, keep in mind Israel is on the same level and sweeden is the same until the Gripen E, on the matter of the missile all but France, Japan and Russia uses the 120 as well
Because its a constant measuring contest despite everyone else being wrong and the Danish guy saying the F-35 WDNS is the best because its cute. Hell even the US had to copy us

Japan has AAM-4’s which are far better than the AIM-120 (Longer range, better manouverability). France uses them only on a 13.7 which isnt the topic i was talking about. Also wdym russia has AIM-120’s lol.
Cannot enjoy the game with Rafale’s flying around lol.
I said all but, meaning all exept for those uses the 120’s aka Us, germany, uk so on, also forgot china dosent use the 120
Yea Germany, Britain, Italy also uses the AIM-120 except its on an infinitely superior Flight model, AKA the Eurofighter.
