Major Update "Line of Contact" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

No no he is right, in closer ranges the C5 is slower then the A/B

For which one would that make a difference? Both radars have already been mounted in EFTs

Ermmmmm

For UK and Italy it would make a difference for sure, since neither haven’t purchased the AMK. Italy didn’t test the Captor-E Mk2 radar as well, and there’s news debating whether it will get Mk0 or Mk2 radar but was given the Mk2 anyway in-game.

Interestingly, Germany was given the IRST even though it’s not planned for it to receive it in-service.

Accidental double negation? Also, AMK is a general P4E thing, every country should be getting it.

Does it matter? Mk.2 was tested on an EFT, both Uk & italy are jointly developing it, I don’t see why it it should make a difference that they decided to test it on a UK airframe.

Where? First time I’m hearing about that. Would also make no sense to me, Mk.1 is already in serial production, why not go for that one then?

I mean, technically IPA.7 & IPA.8 are service aircraft lol. But I get what you mean, it’s a bit odd that they so adamantly refused it for the first one and then decided to just give it to us anyways for the new one. (Not like your one to complain, you’ve got an HMD & 2 Missiles that you don’t have in service)

Yes

I thought AMK automatically comes with P4E but that doesn’t seem to be the case after arguing with someone about it. AMK becomes an option that can be exercised once P4E has been delivered, and seems to require an extra purchase.

For in-game purposes, since it seems that Gaijin is going by “planned” I guess not, but it is clear that it has not been tested by Italy itself.

Gareth Jennings on X: “Some additional info on the #Italy follow-on buy of 24 @eurofighter. From EF, will comprise 22 single- and 2 twin-seaters to be delivered from 2029 at P3Ec standard (or P4E if timelines align). Although previously told will be ECRS Mk 0 radar, now told ‘still to be confirmed’… https://t.co/wAQBx2k3JL” / X

Yeah, it’s not clear exactly what standard Gaijin is going by, whether tested or planned. They need to make up their mind.

XD, yes we have a Rafale F4.1 that is missing GMTI.

Pleas do not be true

My predictions is that they have been working on the model it self today since its not gotten to the files yet. then added to the files tomorrow. Added to the dev server friday (ofc dev server is extended to thr weekend) the update drop on tuesday or Wednesday next week

Maybe, but following the trend this year, all updates have been delayed and pushed 1 week. So i think late next week or monday next week after that.

Sweden wouldn’t be the only nation without an AESA fighter in the tree though.

Hell after this update even with the Gripen E for Sweden there is still 1 nation with no AESA fighter in the tree.

The 22nd seems a bit too late imo, i feel we’ll probably see the update on the 16th or 17th

Bro you are talking to one of the more vocal people here who plays Sweden lol.

Also the Gripen E will most likely easily get wiped by the Rafale/AESA EFTs, quite hard actually.

Yeah I feel like its late too, but you never know with gaijin. There actually arent that many bugs so who knows. I just know that they have been delaying them, and I know that the su-30sm2 is not finished and also the gripen e.

Who. I guess israel but technically it would be 2 as the russians dont have aesa but pesa afaik?

Haha, not true tho. Gripen e would have the best radar in game, and have 9 air to air missiles. Just as good as the Eurofighter in terms of Air rb.
