Hey @Smin1080p_WT , are there any plans to regroup vehicles at rank 8 line, specifically where F-18E and J-10C are placed in? As they break the rule of no more than 3 vehicles or folders at any given rank. We had UK Ram I break this rule and only fixed month or two later. I hope we won’t to have to wait that long this time around.
your forgetting everything on the Dev is subject to change
I want to understand this “logic” of developers and double standards regarding weapons. Why are they giving weapons to an aircraft that has never had one? Why does it only work one way, but it doesn’t work for other planes? The brochure with the Kh-38 states that ALL AKU-58 aircraft have the option to carry the Kh-38, but for some reason this rule only works for one Malaysian aircraft.
I find it funny that this wouldnt be an issue if another country in game wasnt getting the KH-38, only now is it a problem.
The “other” country is the developer and manufacturer of these missiles. What is the problem?
I didnt know Japan/Malaysia deveopled the KH-38 thats news to me.
But in all seriousness I really dont see why the Su-30MKM getting the KH-38 is such an issue its not like this hasnt happened to a ton of weapons on exported vehicles before.
And it wont stop either not until Gaijin runs out of things to add.
Because the Su-30MKM does not have the technical capability to carry them in principle, the documentation for it was developed in 2004, based on the Su-30MKI, which in the 90s, when there was no Kh-38, its on-board system was not designed for it in principle. At first, the developers insisted that a suitable pylon was enough, but when it turned out that the same pylon was available on the Su-27, Su-17, all Su-25 and so on, it SUDDENLY ceased to be sufficient for all except the Su-30MKM. The rest of the range of weapons does not raise any questions, as does the aircraft itself. It’s just about the missiles, which he couldn’t use structurally. Otherwise, let’s give US missiles to Soviet planes, because “why not?”
And what’s enough for proove technical compability?
The opinion of Slavik’s left heel?
And you can 100% prove nothing wouldve changed in that timespan development wise for use of such weapons?
Especially considering the Avionics Suite and most wiring is completely different to that of the MKI
Any dev update today?
I hope so im ready to see the Gripen E
Can you 100% prove that P-51 cannot use JASSM?
Well, I mean yes…
That was not a good comparison
How?
How do you know that the Pentagon is not conducting secret research on this issue?
The technical face of the aircraft for the Malaysian Air Force differed from the Su-30MKI, but these differences in
equipment did not exceed the capabilities inherent in the aviation complex. The display was
converted to the Anglo-Saxon system of units, the type of laser illumination container was changed
, radio navigation and state recognition were replaced, laser irradiation and
MANPADS launch detection sensors were installed, an on-board oxygen extraction station (BKDU) was placed, the cabin was adapted for
night vision goggles, etc.
This does not make such differences from the Su-30MKI, which would allow switching to the latest weapons.
well for one the P-51 is declassified enough that we can look at all it’s details
and then next by proving thr absence of avionics required to launch JASSM we can also prove that it can’t use em
in addition to that since we know what Hard points the P-51 has and the fact that we know that those aren’t compatible with JASSM is another proof that it can’t use them
It’s not about arsenal, if they didn’t have it, there is no proof that they are able to use it, so the missile existence in the jet’s arsenal is just a guess, because in export version it could be without proper software to use it
You cannot be serious. This has made my day and I havent even gone to sleep yet.
planes change
But the underlying issue is NO ONE knows 100% whether it can or cant use it, not one of us know the exact software and wiring the MKM has
