I just want it cause I met people who operate the Hornet with VFA-87 even got to see them up close not like Blue Angels close I mean inside the hanger inside the plane up close
It says Su-27 though no?
Assuming youre reffering to the Su-30MKM carrying KH-38s
The thing is that we all know Gaijin can proceed with this. Yeah an unnecessary Su-30 to Britain and even more unnecessary one to France.
Seriously just combine everything into 3 trees if it is going to be like that.
Then you haven’t unfortunately provided sufficient information to show whatever it is you are trying to report is compatable.
This was always going to happen once we ventured into the 2000s era of modern vehicles. Im suprised its even suprising at this point.
According to the official website, the AKU-58 is an essential pylon for Russian aircraft to launch Kh-29 missiles.
According to the Kh-38 product brochure, the Kh-38 should be capable of being launched from the AKU-58 pylon, which means that the pylon has the ability to fire the Kh-38.
The Su-27SM has an AKU-58 pylon, as does the Su-17. Why is it necessary for them to prove the actual use of missiles, while only the technical capability is sufficient for the MKM?
Being the key words
The AKU-58 pylon is sufficient for the use of the Kh-38, according to the developers.
Evidently not, and if they even got them which I highly doubt they will they would go up in br.
The existance of a common pylon unfortunately doesnt proove technical compatability with an airframe.
Really? What else is needed? Could there be relevant software that Malaysia doesn’t have because it comes with a missile that wasn’t supplied to them?
Being in a spesific nations arsenal has not been a requirement in game. Many aircraft utilise this.
So what is a “technical opportunity” then? Not a pylon, okay, we found out. Software? It comes with the rocket, which means it can only be used when purchasing this rocket.
Hey @Smin1080p_WT , are there any plans to regroup vehicles at rank 8 line, specifically where F-18E and J-10C are placed in? As they break the rule of no more than 3 vehicles or folders at any given rank. We had UK Ram I break this rule and only fixed month or two later. I hope we won’t to have to wait that long this time around.
your forgetting everything on the Dev is subject to change
I want to understand this “logic” of developers and double standards regarding weapons. Why are they giving weapons to an aircraft that has never had one? Why does it only work one way, but it doesn’t work for other planes? The brochure with the Kh-38 states that ALL AKU-58 aircraft have the option to carry the Kh-38, but for some reason this rule only works for one Malaysian aircraft.
I find it funny that this wouldnt be an issue if another country in game wasnt getting the KH-38, only now is it a problem.
The “other” country is the developer and manufacturer of these missiles. What is the problem?
I didnt know Japan/Malaysia deveopled the KH-38 thats news to me.
But in all seriousness I really dont see why the Su-30MKM getting the KH-38 is such an issue its not like this hasnt happened to a ton of weapons on exported vehicles before.
And it wont stop either not until Gaijin runs out of things to add.
Because the Su-30MKM does not have the technical capability to carry them in principle, the documentation for it was developed in 2004, based on the Su-30MKI, which in the 90s, when there was no Kh-38, its on-board system was not designed for it in principle. At first, the developers insisted that a suitable pylon was enough, but when it turned out that the same pylon was available on the Su-27, Su-17, all Su-25 and so on, it SUDDENLY ceased to be sufficient for all except the Su-30MKM. The rest of the range of weapons does not raise any questions, as does the aircraft itself. It’s just about the missiles, which he couldn’t use structurally. Otherwise, let’s give US missiles to Soviet planes, because “why not?”
