Mate, I’ve seen plenty of matches where one side only had minor nations. I can guarantee you that there will be matches in which one side will consist of a combination of the nations that are being left out of getting a medium range SAM.
Also, how is a short range IR SAM helping when CAS has way more range than the SAM?

So we have a short range IR slinger, at a toptier line up where the minimum engagement range of an aircraft has a tendency to be at least 25km. Y’know, just personally, I would have preferred the RBS 23 that would have given us a vague hope of reaching out and touching the threat. This is before we consider the fact that the agility will bleed it of energy quite effectively.

Snail just often just copy paste one vehicles stat cards / shells / missiles etc onto another when developing them, just as a temporary placeholder.
Spyders proper missiles will get their unique stat cards, names and models over the duration of the dev server.
