Holy hell, rein it in a bit, i understand not having an spaa must suck but the AIO (it will have P5 and Derby) will be better in some cases than even SLM, plus apparently the RU Dev stated that it’s effective range is 15km (SLM), which is laughable still in the face of KH.

The difference is the Swiss one didn’t have the A2G ability torn out of it, they just didn’t purchases A2G munitions. The Finnish one however, like the German F4F, had the A2G capability physically removed from the airframe, like the F4F had the ability to fire sparrows physically removed from the airframe.

You sure? Cause they never operated them under the F-18 designation (afaik) and some other people did more digging and also came to the conclusion that it never had the hardware removed
SLM has a effective range of 40km from manufacturer. But gaijin said nu uh and around 15

Pretty sure I’ve read that the A2G capabilities for the Swiss Hornets were part of a later upgrade, just like with the Finnish Hornets.
However in either case the Swiss Hornets shouldn’t have A2G, as Switzerland explicitely chose to use their Hornets for A2A only
