Major Update "Leviathans" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Ahh so it doesn’t haha so even worse

If the MLU 2 can have 1,280 BOL + 120 normal CM’s and be at same BR as 120 CM US C late, then there should be no problem with US F-15C having 640+240 CM and F-15JM with 240 at same BR. Smaller difference between the 2 examples

Im 99% certain it does IRL at least

Istg can we get an Error 405 fix soon please, sending this message alone took 6 tries

I wouldn’t mind national differences. It would help make every nation feel more unique, especially future nations and subtree nations. But please just make a consistent system applied equally across the board and not decided by flipping a coin.

When I notice a post of myn is taking a while to load and going to get that error, I just hit refresh, press reply again and it goes through instantly.

Afaik no F-16 US or foreign has used BOL pods

Doesn’t the F-16C (idk which block tho or if it was even the C) have MAWs atleast with integrated CMs?

IRL yes they do have the PIDS pylons but not ingame. Ingame it’s the F-16AM that has the MAWS+CM pylons

So the airframe cannot sustain an 11G pull. Much like the pilot, even spending more than 0.1 seconds above 10G is catastrophic for it.

Of course, but limiting planes to 9-10G would make this better for everyone. The Top Pilots in the world can pull 9G for upwards of 40 seconds. And that was in the 1990s with F-16Cs. By making this a clear defined limit, the difference between jets becomes more about actually flight performance (and the skill of energy management) and not who can pancake their pilot the most unrealistically. It would also allow Gaijin to increase G loading sustainment at reasonable G like -3 to 9G, while cranking it up for unreasable G like (-4G)+ or upwards of 10G.

I notice in the mine post, there’s a line saying KH38’s have a 10 metre ‘designation error’.

What does that actually mean in practice during gameplay?

When you try to use the GPS guide, it will have about 10m error

As a GNSS bomb the XGCS-2 literally can not effectively hit ships, it was solely designed to hit stationary ground targets.

Is there proof it can actually hit ground targets?

Do you not know what GNSS is?

its GNSS (GPS) guided so it hits a fixed coordinate, think of it like setting a destination on google maps and then a bomb hits there (but instead of phone, you use a TGP or punch in coordinates)

Your thinking of GCS-1 a bomb kit for dumb bombs which has a IR seeker said to be for anti shipping.

This bomb XGCS-2 is closer to things like glide bombs etc

You should be able to make a bug report for that using the flight manual, if one hasn’t been made already

Never said anything else did I?

Ah, so now they can do DL + IR (unless 9X in game is not, technically, IR)
