What about datalink?
haven’t seen any mention of range improvements there is RVV-MD that has 40km range but thats still shorter then the ASRAAM’s 50km, it also slower then the ASRAAM being a single booster reaching mach 2.5 ASRAAM is a 2 stage booster with a max speed of mach 3+
ASRAAM is 2 stage?
U sure?
Are you 100% sure?
KGV, PoW… I don’t mind, just give me a Premium KGV-Class, hahahah.
Only way I will consider grinding U.K. If it’s a QE/Revenge, I would be disappointed, not gonna lie.
Nelson, I don’t know. Slow reload, but other than that, it’s suppossed to be rather good, so idk.
dunno where your getting much bigger from but its only 30cm longer and the same diamiter for almost a 30kg increase?
yes.
bro im posting the actual brochure for the thing not from wikipedia, check the stats from the brochure i posted
They can also just not add another premium
sorry misread it says dual burn I thought it meant 2 stage
that’s r-73
Interesting. Seeker range only seems to be 10km though
so its marginally longer 3.1 meters vs 2.9 yet again gain 30kg over the ASRAAM doesnt seem like an improvement to me especially if its still shorter range, lower top speed and a smaller warhead
aim-9x will be worst modern missile
it doesn’t really matter as it can be launched without a lock and be guided in via datalink until lock
Elaborate
they both have roughly same range (50km) with the rvvmd2 having thrust vectoring and loal, not sure if asram is loal. also i don’t know where you’re getting that it’s slower than asraam, I don’t think there’s any max speed of the missile on this brochure
If they do that they would be mis modeling it
the only numbers ive seen are mach 2.5 which is slower then ASRAAM, and yes ASRAAM has LOAL
Isn’t r74m2 just a clipped fin modernized r73?
