god I hope so because I really dont want WW1 aircraft or tanks massively slowing down the grind because gaijin decided they were mandatory to research
High costs for RP and SL to hopefully push players towards purchasing premium time and vehicles, scummy business practices. I don’t want to see the addition of newer generation vehicles under the current game economy because only a fraction of the player base will ever actually reach those vehicles, and the addition of those vehicles removes from the content that could be added to more played areas. A fix in the economy (I.e. setting aside greed), and more consistent balancing/content additions, modern tech would be a grand addition. Just imagine the cost of a modern premium jet in this current economy.

Just like I want more WW2 stuff, primarily ground (with air being minor and basically not caring for naval)
Things like the western allied arty or missing lend-lease/variants. For example I was doing something with the M3 MT and realized WT lacks them with only having the base M3 and Grant I in game.
Anything above 5.7 I don’t find fun/not interested in. So the few times we get something TT there I love. As I find events/BPs far to hard too do, and often left with burnout.

funny enough complete opposite here, ww2 for naval is the only thing I really care about for ww2 now days and thats because we can still get a ton of cool ships, still missing QE, still missing any of the KGV, still missing a Revenge class in the british tree (still incredibly dumb we were told we aren’t allowed our own ship because the soviets got it)

Yeah same, the birth of modern warfare with the invention of tanks and air combat and it’s tactics which has evolved into what we see today is such an important part of history of which is noticeably missing War Thunder and it is disappointing. Would be great to see it added further than just a handful of tanks and a bomber at some point, and not in only Aces of Thunder as just 4 fighters and a map.
Speaking of Aces of Thunder it seems to have gone into a coma since the last announcing it wasn’t going to be VR exclusive back in April, and from the bombshell that was the early access gameplay seen from various content creators + the deafening silence from the devs it’s looking more and more disappointing.

honestly hoping for KGV as the premium since she is some what unique for having only 40mm AA unlike the majority of her sisters also having 20mm besides I think Prince of Wales who also only had 40mm

it should be able to do FCS quite reliably when teamed up with other su-57
the only place where it might struggle is when friendlies are in the general area of the target
so basically what ive heard about the Su57 is if they model it like how the russian goverment says it works its gonna be the most broken thing imaginable, im sure gaijin will raise the BRs enough so it only fights other 5th gens and cant ever see 4.5th or hell 4th gens

the first actual combat su57 came in 2021, (ignoring serial no. 1 which came in 2020 as that was mostly used for testing purposes anyways)
