That’s completely irrelevant as fixing exposed panels doesn’t make a aircraft any magically better in a substantial way, the exposed panels were only one of the main issues Chinese citizens had with the T-50-7 (the T-50-4 wasn’t the one on display). Additionally, many of the issues those said prototypes have still are concurrent on the SU-57 which doesn’t make its case any better.

those sensors are still exposed, with the only difference that the housing has a different shape

Whilst you’re right about them being “technically exposed”, looking from a RCS standpoint they aren’t, the entire point of those covers is to minimise radar cross-section, aka stealth optimized. Russia didn’t even try and said “f*ck it” lmao.
And even still we could theoretically see one of the DMU designes

I have a hunch that the F-35 will be like what the AV-8B is in-game, morbidly obese and not the greatest when compared to something like the F-22. I do have hope for the J-35 however and do believe it will be a nice, small and nimble stealth aircraft reinforcing Chinese top tier.
