The “Challenger 3” ingame is a very poorly modelled Challenger 2 LEP at best, the only thing it has in common with the real Chally 3 is the gun.
Lets not forget it still uses the Challenger 2 turret damage model despite its turret being a completely different shape.
Afaik it got new thermals like the 2A4M.
In any case I doubt the UK will ever get it since they have India as a subtree(questionable decision on their part imo).

Its pretty insane to me that Gaijin speaks of “historical accuracy” while actively adding modern prototypes like this with next to no information available, you cant even bug report anything because no source is up to “Gaijin’s standards”, what kind of logic is this??

Thats the point to Gaijin its missing features…not a completely broken mess.

Just accept that all information on prototypes is wrong and correct at the same time and love the vehicles as they are.
It was a bug report that changed Challenger 3 TD’s engine, not Gaijin’s own research team.
It was player feedback that ended the mountain goating on many maps…
aircraft engines consume fuel in RB and SB gamemodes, going too fast will cause your plane to break, IR missiles can lock onto the sun, all of those effects occur/have occured IRL. hot things like aircraft stand out in thermals, that is real life logic
