well the AARGM seeker is only for terminal guidance and is only good against light AA and radar. and the 88e is what other nations would have lol. they could always just add the 88F since it uses GPS/INS to defeat the radar turning off
which then germany and Italy have no ARM and your back to square one unless gaijin wanna give them a weapon it never mounted

why would they add the E if they would have to ahistorically change it to make it fit…? it would be like if they give brimstones an IR seeker to make them FnF something they said they wouldnt do, so they wont do that for the AGM-88E
the mmw wont be an issue on an ARM
it is if its used in the terminal phase, if they removed it then you have no guidance if they added it you have the same issue of the other MMV weapons of it seeing through terrain and smoke, again they wont add the E, they are more likely to just add standard HARM so they arent immediately jumping to an MMV ARM
there is still the passive radar seeker as well as the inertial guidance. and MMW cant see through terrain unless it can go through a hill
and like i said it isnt even an issue as the HARM warhead is only good vs. light AA vehicles and fragile radars. i dont even think any of the new SPAA have smoke grenades so it makes no difference
I mean soft cover like bushes and trees, and again I think its a dumb idea to jump to the AGM-88E and completely skip over more balanced ARMs that wont still hit you if you turn off your radar
what about the ALARM that loiters above? thats just as bad as the 88E or F
even the earlier AGM-88 could still sort of maintian their course to probably hit the radar if it doesnt move. actually im pretty sure the AGM-78 had this ability too
they wont model loitering especially with how the ALARM works
Right now from the dev server what I can see is that the game would be in a even worse state than right now. Since most of the new anti air except for irist-slm would be useless in countering kh-38, and the slm being so powerful it would deny any other country from having CAP. That means Russian players can just team up with german players and we are going to get an continueation of this meta. I am pretty sure there is a anti air system they can add to uk and italy, but I don’t know why they choose not to. Also for Slaamram and Spyder they are complete inferior to panstir, so currently we also know that rafael and typhoon have no problem in taking panstir out, which means they would have an easier time taking slamraam out. I think the over hype for python5, aim-9x, aim120c5 was actually detramental to the game balance since it made the devs deviate from reality and instead catered to populisim. Which most people were fearing that it would be too powerful.
I mean I’m already grinding germany so it affect me that much, but I do think that the top tier meta is extremely unhealthy.

Infact I have an consipricy theory. That Gaijin just hate English speaking country. Since UK and USA currently in the game is just sad, from air to naval. Best example is that for some reason the UK typhoon had IR search glitch and it took 3 month to fix it. F-15E got nerfed after coming out in 1 day but have not reverted with the current release of more capable jet. Also don’t forget that in F-15 meta japan just had an better plane because lmao. On ground both UK and USA have the second (conqure XDDDD) and 4th worst main battle tank (abram) with no alternative (italy and france both get leapord 2 to fix there tec tree which is not something I like but it is what it is). For heli usa have hellfire only, meanwhile most other country have either fnf or EXREMELY FAST agm, I mean I guess uk at least had star streak until gaijin murdered it after 2 month lol (another bias as vikhr was more borken but not really nerfed that much). I’m not kidding if eurofighter typhoon was only released to Germany it would have an proper CAPTOR-M.

as of now it is severely under performing and still has flight model issues along with missing EO sensor and its datalink

I barely read half of the dudes initial post, but all of the new spaa besides the SLM being mediocre at best is a bad thing for top tier.
Top tier CAS dominance will likely just stay as it is, only Germany will have somewhat of an answer, if most of the new spaa stay as they are.
