Because there is a lot of differences between DCS and WT.
But its pretty clear that WT cannot sustain the current map sizes. Any SB main will tell you the same.

what did they do to my R60M i hit a mig 23 only gets criticals now
dunno if its a new change but launchers can now deploy ammo boxes meaning one SLM brings 32 missiles

As long as it comes with a BR increase to 12.3 it would be fine to get the missile.

Namely, new engines, a new radar on top of the rotor, additional flares, composite applique armor has been installed around the cockpit and engine nacelles for improved protection. Upward mounted exhausts have also been fitted to reduce the IR signature of the vehicle — a feature especially handy in reducing visibility on thermal image devices and to lower the chances of a successful IR missile lock-on. The Z-10ME will also receive the DIRCM system protecting from missiles with IR seekers. Additionally, the cannon turret has also been upgraded and now features 350 rounds of ammunition further extending the Z-10ME’s combat capabilities!

we havent had a new map since Oct 2022 and they finally add a location that could easily accomodate a 200km x 300km ASB map and its shrunk down to the size of a postage stamp and only being added to ARB.
Its downright insane

Ok… so why are you talking about the map designed for ARB in terms and views of ASB?
And ASB Probably has the lowest player counts hence the least effort
I mean we tried to do the same with FB10 but they said it was guess work that update command means DL.
if top tier aircraft in ASB with 128 x 128km maps, multiple spawn points and generally smaller team sizes is in desperate need of bigger maps.
Then ARB with far smaller maps. single spawn points and 16 v 16 definetly needs bigger maps.
So Falklands being bigger would not only actually make a decently sized map for ARB. but also mean it could be easily added into ASB, but with its current size. its too small for ASB to be viable. So if it was scaled correctly. It could actually be added to the other gamemode.
Which is just a stupid logic imo. “lets neglect a gamemode that players have stopped playing because of how neglected it is” just feels like shooting yourself in the foot. With the right amount of effort and support. They could entice a lot of players over from games like DCS and IL-2 just on the sheer number of available aircraft they can play.
Besides, an RB EC gamemode is apparently in development anyway and a LOT of people would probably play that. Then ASB can just be a mirror image of it, just with the SB related changes like cockpit view and full controls.

In the current state of ARB i don’t even play it myself. Once they add RB EC i might consider it again.
Sim is simply janky at best in WT
wonder if the same people would complain if ARB stops getting maps and updates because RB EC is more popular

Yeah, this really dissapoints me. Swiss is really a Finland situation, where only the unique planes are behind a paywall…
