The AAM-4 isnβt the only gimped missile.
The MICA
The pl-12
Are also gimped
you can throw aim120c-5 on that list as well considering somehow all of those missiles are still worse than aim120a/b.
it was mid the second they gate kept the new SPAA and systems to only half of the nations, everything else just added to how bad it is
Mica and pl12 are only worse in range
from testing it out in a test drive the thing couldnt even lock onto ships 9/10 times it failed to lock on, the radar would either not track it or if it did then the missile wouldnt work, I never once got it to lock onto tanks
Looks like it works pretty well in the video
unless they changed it a couple of hours before the closing of the dev server it is still incredibly unreliable so much so I would take a TV weapon over it
on the last day of dev server it stopped working as a whole
and there is also the fact that the ASM-2 didnt had an IR seeker for guidance but used the ARH from the ASM-1
yes they changed it
you were unable to fire them completly
so you pressed the launch button, and nothing happened
6051st!
In 95% sure that was the last dev update before closure.
There was no update on the 11th and the video was uploaded on the 10th after the update
That was the last patch, prior they can be fired just fine and the IR placeholder we still need a glimpse of how it works.
@gszabi99 sorry for ping
I want to ask about your assets list
Missiles like Kh-39(LMUR) or kh-69
Those assets can be found in sdk or we need to do something special to find them
Thank you
Absolute truth.

A report correcting a bug report that misunderstood the number of units and channels regarding the number of F-2 datalink channels was closed without any response.
I posted a comment asking for a reason why it was closed, but the bug report manager deleted my comment asking for a reason and then responded with a reason why it was closed. Is it a legitimate operational practice to delete a comment asking for a reason why it was closed?
To begin with, the number of MIRU units in the relevant document does not refer to the number of MIRU units on the F-2, and it was pointed out in the immediately preceding comment that MIRUs are not datalink managers. What exactly is going on with this?
I hope weβll get the Swiss blog next week as I want to buy my C-3604 : (
Yeah, now that you mentioned it, Iβve never seen it in game.
