This is how it will go:

  1. British and French mains laugh now that other nations get mediocre new spaa because they got skipped.
  2. Next update they will also get mediocre new spaa.
  3. British and French mains will start complaining that Gaijin hates them because their new spaa is mediocre (not because it was added late).

Yeah I know I left out Italy, but they are in a similar situation as Israel: No matter how mediocre their new spaa is, it will likely still be better than their current option(s) in most situations.

they dont care about the second part. They just want you to grind both air and ground so you buy 2 70 dollars prems instead of 1

CAMM and MICA VL will probably get the same treatment, and it’s going to be even worse if they add SAMP/T

eh ill still take a CAMM or CAMM-ER over ADATS at the very least ill be able to engage multiple targets, and ill take the what probably 10km max range knowing gaijin over the 3km range of the ADATS (because they removed the tracer making it incredibly hard to hit any kind of target past when the motor stops burning)

nah ive use ADATS quite alot now, its not that difficult to guide and predict the missiles flight path

again I do think its rather dumb they have been limited so hard but I cant help but laugh at all of the people that tried to tell me its fine italy was left with no top tier SAM and the UK was fine with an ADATS lol

fair I think its pretty useless so ive just stopped bringing it, still only has an effective range of like 8km at most wouldnt be very hard for CAMM even in an incredibly gimpped state to beat it lol

10km is already very optimistic. Most of the new sams become pretty ineffective after 8km.

oh perfect so its the same as the ADATS but has the benefit of being FnF so has a higher hit chance, more ready ammo between the 2 launchers, a far better radar, with the ability to track without the radar

only downside is it cant kill tanks ohnoooo

Downside is that you’re still free food for the Kh38s and Hammers.

But that is also the case for the adats.

again not much of a downside if everyone is lol, at the very least I can kill other planes that have to get with in 12-10km lol

tbf they are right things with SPIKES and PARS are some of the most cancerous Helis in the game the solution isnt to power kreep them with even better FnF weapons

And that’s why they can be at toptier, traditional Heli now is almost useless, I am not sure the Mi28NM’s performance in the next update, but till now even Ka52 is still awful due to Gaijin canceling using ATGM to intercept missiles.

By the way, if we are here to complain that some nations don’t get good spaa at this time, has anyone been aware that there is only one nation that doesn’t have any IR F&F atgm for CAS?

same thing can be said about there only being one nation in the game now with no top tier SPAA

also until the release of the last patch and the introduction of Thailand to japan, japan also had no IR AGMs, hell their newest top tier plane the F2A doesnt get IR AGMs either, the EFTs dont even have any FnF weapons

so im gonna be honest I really dont care if china doesn’t get oppressive CAS

f2s do get ir agms. Idk if they function like penguins but they do get anti ship missiles
