Seek and Destroy launched on June 19th. The wiki shows that the overlord event was from June 5th to June 17th and the next event started on the 24th of July.
The report was not initally handled by a Technical Moderator.
From what I can see the report (or rather the information within) has already since been linked up with an existing forwarded report by a Technical Moderator:
The CBR automatically detects languages written in the text. Here its most likely picked up on the names of sources / links used and designated it to Dutch. Whilst there is no way to manually change this, It wont impact the handling of the report, rest assured.
Did a dev just straight up close it before looking at it closer, if it wasnt handled by a tech mod?
Or who is doing that job now…?
Either way it doesnt look nice, if either devs just close it like that or if non techmods even just handle them know, without the information how to even handle reports.
in that case those staffs in question need a new or better information course about how to identify sources and handle bug reports.
The solution to the issue cant be us begging actual tech mods, we have connections with to relook at the reports.
Thats one of the issues coming from anonymousing the handlers as well, since we cant directly tell them about their mistakes anymore either or discuss what was wrong with them.
another issue is the reports getting instantly closed,
if the comment section would be left actual open, we could discuss it there, or add them information / reports and wouldnt need to open X reports about the same matter
We did like in this case . A maliciously done report by a french community member, already proven here in the forums to have misused sources to fit his narrative.
And being banned from the forums now already as well.
Reporting Iris-t as 50G as 50g max
From a Report whose main topic is safety and insensitive munitions
Reported manovers of 50g does not equal that the missle is capable of handling 50g max
And yet, it was not addressed at all from our issue reports or any statement done in the bug report and just implemented.
Sadly this is not practical. If every report already closed also had to be left open, it means there is a near infinite number of both new and existing reports open. It simply is impossible to monitor and continually revisit over and over already answered reports in this way. Its why when a report is closed, exactly why is provided so it can be corrected and submitted again (if its a mistake) or why its not an issue to begin with if not.
Further to that, once again:
These mechanism already are in place for situations like that.
Leaving reports open sadly is not a possible or practical solution.
Nothing has been ignored. The report you linked was answered and fixed. A new report can be submitted with valid sources if the information is correct.
Little off topic, is there any American jet bomber that was supposed to, or really equip AN/M56?
I heard about 10,000lb bomb and 22,000lb bomb for XB-43 and B-45 respectively, but they were not in the game and don’t think to be added soon.
B-57A can’t carry AN/M56?
