Major Update "Leviathans" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

iam talking about a maw warning not rwr

just like an IR missile would, that was the point

Would you like to explain the sarcasm I used?

Not really.

And the ADATS is beam riding missile, it has a search radar and that’s it, the missile isn’t radar guided therefore no RWR warning other than the occasional ping of the search sweeps

the point is that it dosent have a MAW unlike what you stated earlier

what you posted just means that it automatically deploys chaff for radar missiles

Russia, india and the GDR

TBH I think it might be more useful in GRB simply by having a lower BR so facing less effective SPAA and better flee capacity xD

I do wonder also if the German one could carry machinegun pods I see claimed or not, go Strikemaster meme, though I assume a later model (PK-3 pod I think it is? IDK Soviet kit so not sure).

Either way, as a premium I am kind of surprised gaijin didnt put it into a few trees even without guns, just price it accordingly and let players decide for themselves. Or as a squadron vehicle.

Well I’ve used the Arado variant without a gun and it still works just as fine still managed to have fun and grinded stuff with it.

I mean didn’t you Russian bosses stated somewhere they would like to add all military tech from all places ?

In other words making the a powerful variant a premium so the dev’s makes the most profit from it (shrugs)

Precisely

I have no idea what this means or where its come from. We have never said we will introduce every single possible aircraft that ever existed.

?

We don’t even have another variant in game. So how can we be “making the a powerful variant a premium” ?

Its the exact same case with the Strikemaster.

Hey smin.
In this entire “mess” about the L39 is there anything you can tell us about italian armed trainers? Not to brag but they are pretty neat.

Nothing regarding this update.

I’m hoping, after AIM-120C5 and anti-ship missiles mature in War Thunder, that the F-16A MLU in Chinese tech tree will gain some purpose other than just “being on the F-16A bandwagon”. Sigh…

Very useful for a heli that doesn’t have countermeasures.

Unless that was also changed today?

Though I get the German one being an unarmed and not added, I do want to ask about a Romanian one for the Italians, AFAIK from a quick de google its the L-39ZA that they used too? Unless it had marked differences would make a neat addition as they do have other Romanian planes.

Italy is also missing any premiums between 5.0 and 8.7 and lacking CAS in the zone too so it would 1000% fill the gap, exact same, more even then it does for the Russians?

The solution:

Could of swear that was said somewhere unless my mind is playing tricks again. Perhaps with all the different interviews and CM notes could of bleed into each other.

We don’t rule out that other versions or variants may come in the future. But for this update, Italy has the Romanian Sniper premium already coming.

While that would be cool, a quick fix copy-paste in the short term would also be grand ^^

Given the record on the UK getting Indian OSA and Strela without it harming domestic designs, it would be a nice thing to get both (if gaijin are even planning to make that or other Italian lower BR CAS).

Fair I guess, though I have very limited to no major interest in top tiers but do enjoy light trainers and Italy in that BR range.

Oh well. I do hope gaijin consider it in the near future or other light trainer/COIN for them if not an option (Itally reeeeally could use it, even if they are getting another premium plane at top tier, the 5.0-8.7 gap is harsh for those of us who enjoy early jet brs).

Could make a really nice squadron vehicle
