Major Update "Leviathans" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

that shouldnt be a problem when we have M2HB still in widespread service

yeah they probably shouldve gone for the m9a3 though imo

Idk man, 28NM seems to have a literal force field around it where IR missiles just go goofy mode (like a TOW flying into soft kill APS).

I’m watching it just shrug off an entire batteries worth of Python 5 / IRIS-T lol.

Granted both those missiles I mentioned still seem to be varying degrees of WiP, but still…

dev server stuff are typically not correct as they are still work in progress, either not working right at all, underperforming, or overperforming

Oh for sure, mate. Things can always change before live, so I’m not stressing yet.

Just sayin though, if this is the sort of ability they intend it to have… Basically hard counters all the new AA they’re adding lol.

Some new changes in Dev server, now DIRCM in MI-28NM and MI-8 AMTSH-VN can jamming IIR seeker(literally AGMs like Spike, AGM-65D, KH-38)

convenient how only those 2 specific helicopters get it huh

i kinda just realized a teeny tiny problem with letting players choose the vehicle in their battlefield class lineup

a single otomatic can decide to blast anything that looks like it might have infantry and completely violate stuff

it’s strange why KA-52 didn’t get this, it may get, and Z-10ME which has model also has DIRCM.
AH-64E also has AN/AAQ-24? IDK if there are other helis have DIRCM.

unfortunately we do not yet have AH-64E. however we do have UH-60 which did have the CIRCM

AH-64D had one according to this (also UH-60 which could help since our UH-60 is only a UH-60L)

regardless of fancy names, is this DIRCM or normal IRCM, I don’t remember, I remember most high br US heli in game have normal IRCM.

I did a quick search, seems it is just tested, too big to be in AH-64, ended in large helis like CH-53.

M10 Booker being picked over XM1302 (BAE MPF M8)

How would infantry even work? Controlled similar to the way scout drones are? Basically playing Men of War within War Thunder?
Maybe they’re using them as a way to test a new kind of squad control for aircraft carriers? A way to introduce APCs that wouldn’t normally work in-game because their weaponry is too weak?
What would even be the point unless they’re playing around with releasing a shooter that is actually fun.

Jokes on us enlisted was a test bed for war thunder! Lol

I enjoy WT ground a lot, but looking at some of it’s elements I don’t think I would ever touch WT infantry even if my life was on the line.

Doubt it would survive long regardless with the new bf potentially being next year.

watch this be the monkeys paw for that ground only gamemode people wish for
no cas but instead you can get rpg’d from some random window

I think it would be hell for both sides. Inconsistent damage from infantry weapons against tanks and inconsistent HE damage from tanks against infantry.
