gaijin is constantly making compromises on realism for gameplay purposes, the current no MMW rules open some gates that should not be open, they can literally add the Hermes-A to the Ka-52 if they think it’s balanced because it’s laser guided, yet this would have 20km range, which is more than unfair

Modern smoke rounds, at least 66mm NATO and 82mm USSR, has a good amount of chaffs inside them to at least throw off MMW guided missiles


It’s definitely a bad idea to open that can of worms for gameplay balance

Though I do certainly support a 12.0/12.3 Z-10 with 8 FnF missiles and modernized RWR

IDK how much these will be KH38 level cause it shouldn’t be too much, under MACH1 and from heli, should be just fine.

These would have better range than the SLM lmao.

I thought SLM is 40km? Anyway Gaijin will hard limit it to like 12km and it will basically be Maverick pro max with less explosives.

It also has a 70km range version as a loitering ammunition that dwarfs the Kh-38, with the ability for 4x4 where the kamov can take 2x1. Anyways, if its range is limited to 7-8km, it should be fine, since it is as much as a spike compared to anything else, barely over mach 1.

Not in game, at 24km it just falls out the sky against a helicopter.

The loitering version has 40km from heli, and is it confirmed the Z-10 can carry 16? each weighs 150kg, 150*16=2400kg, which exceeds the max ordnance weight of 1500kg.
Even 8 of those leaves little room for extra ordnance.

It can carry the 70km version as well, but only 1 per hardpoint for 4 total.

Also the BA-21/AKD-21 is literally like the Hellfire Longbow, so if they get added you’ll get the BA-21.

GBAD would be its technical term as it is essentially stationary

And multiple sites would be IADS

it doesn’t come close to the speed it should be going, currently tops out and about mach 2 with a few seconds of booster left
in the attached image its booster burns for 15 seconds and has only hit mach 1.86

Really want to get some of swordfish attacking but currently replay is bugged so nothing other than the vehicles moving is rendered which is a genuine shame. Also the constant crashes in replay mode were driving me mad, the screenshots in the fog have genuinely taken me an hour and half to take with the crashes.

Have they added new ship views?

No, SLM is a bigger missile (based on IRIS-T) with 40km range and confirmed hits beyond 30km, the SLS is just the IRIS-T missile but ground launched, no modifications(maybe software).
