Meant to respond to this, but I’m curious to see which flaws you see with NH-90 just from looking at it, it does have flaws definitely.
Yes and you’re comparing it with primarily a Naval helicopter. The NH-90 is actually built for maritime operations.
I would agree the Blackhawk platform is more rugged, NH-90 has significantly better carry capacity for both soldiers, Medevac and a slightly higher underslung capability as its more of a Tactical Transport Helicopter than a Battlefield Utility Helicopter

The position of the door gunners getting in the way of soliders trying to get out from there. There is a ramp too, but it means only being able to get out one way instead of 2 for quicker movement. If there is also a ramp gunner then they cannot leave through the ramp since they’d be running in front of a machine gun.
Even if the NH-90 is originally built for naval operations it’s still used by many armies in its different variants. If a transport is needed, a CH-53K would outperform it in every way (not to mention, CH-53 is best looking transport helicopter)
It doesn’t even look better
It looks miles better than the gremlin looking UH-60
