hmm so lets see the UK and Italy have some of the worst top tier ground line ups with italy having a single good tank but with zero SPAA and the UK having very meh tanks and a very bad SPAA

neither nation gets SPAA this update

both nations had pretty good fighters but were being held back with radar bugs, so gaijin give all the F/A-18Cs and F-15s C-5 AMRAAMs meaning the EFTs are heavily out classed at BVR and they have the worst dog fight AAM at top tier with the 9M great

and im just not even gonna touch on naval as its a joke what gaijin thinks the Soyuz would be

this update is honestly a clown show for playing italy or the UK

The requirement to research and purchase EVERY SINGLE Rank VI ship to unlock Rank VII is excessive, specially for some nations

The requirement to unlock Naval Rank VII should be even out across nations. poll Considering that each of these costs 400,000 RP and 1,000,000 SL to unlock and purchase, I think it’s quite excessive. What is the point of branch arrows if you need to research and purchase each and every single vehicle on the previous rank with no exception anyway? yeah I have no idea what gaijin is on to think only the F-15s and F/A-18s need them, im fine with this just give the EFT better dog fight missiles (IRIS-T and ASRAAM)

If it was F-18 only, and they werent getting 1200 BOL as well (I have to assume they all will eventually) then maybe. But F-15E. Its a joke. Especially with no radar fixes, no Brimstone 2. No Spear-3. Not even a Striker I bug fix

There is no maybe, the F/A-18C was mediocre at BVR. There is really 0 problem with that thing getting the C-5. F-15 is a lot more conflicting though.

And only 1 Hornet is getting the BOL launchers. Also you guys were always the one saying BOL was mediocre anyway.

Eurofighter and Rafale are currently some of the best performing air-to-air aircraft in game currently. But consideration for other aircraft to receive AIM-120C-5 is still underway.

If thats the case, any idea why gaijin decided to buff the MICA again with update 2.46.0.16?

There is no maybe, the F/A-18C was mediocre at BVR. There is really 0 problem with that thing getting the C-5.

It really depends on the seeker imo. if its the same seeker as the B, then yes, if its a lot harder to defeat both kinematically and with notch/chaff then it could be a major issue as it has 10.

Yes and no. Yes it is, when you only have 2, like on the Viggen, Tornado or even Typhoon. 4 is a little better on the Gripen or Harrier, because you can spam even more, but 8? Is kinda insane.

It's time for Gaijin to finally reverse the ahistorical nerf to BOL countermeasures [Poll]

With the Leviathans Update introducing Imaging Infrared (IIR) anti-aircraft missiles in the form of IRIS-T and AIM-9X it is time for the Gaijin to revert the ahistorical nerfs that they made to BOL countermeasures and restore their effectiveness to at least pre-nerf levels. poll Wait what on earth are BOL countermeasures? BOL is a type of countermeasures (chaff / flare) dispenser which fits into the rear of a missile launch rail, allowing a large number of countermeasures to be carried in space…

If BOL actually get fixed? Then it becomes quite a major deal and I am also concerned that F-18s gettng 8x BOL will mean the aircraft with 2 will have to suffer because they dont want to deal with balancing the F-18

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to ping you and ask a question like this, seeing as the Swiss F-5E has the Sergeant Fletcher 275 gallon drop tanks, is it in the dev’s plans to either add them to the other F-5Es and F-20, or at least replace their 150 gallon drop tanks with them (since it’d be more accurate)?

It’s still launched from a Hornet, which usually launch from lower altitude and with less speed (for obvious reasons), which makes that it’s missiles have less energy and are easier to kinematically defeat to begin with.
