i can’t see the thing going any higher than 12.0, jesus christ, yes, it’s an R27ER but it’s launched at ground level on a subsonic aircraft that, if it’s engaged in any dogfight, is slow enough to not even have the mach-meter show in the UI…
edit: why would it even be 12.0, the tomcats are 11.7 and 12.0 respectively, a 39 with it’s ER’s ain’t a menace for a tomcat
Its still a R-27ER. They have such speed that even firing from something slow like the Su-39 could still probably outrange a supersonic aircraft dropping Aim-7M in a BVR fight. Combine with the half decent radar the Su-39 does actually have and it would be very strong at 12.0. It would be like giving the A-10C 2x AMRAAMs.
Throw in any other buff ontop of that, like increasing its R-73 count from 2 to 4 to run alongside it and it starts looking on par to something like the Harrier Gr7 at 12.3 in terms of offensive capability.
if it was to ever go above 12.0 it’d be with the R-77’s., the ER’s are still ER’s like you said, still not an ARH. yes it’d get a decent radar and a grand total of 2 ER’s but it’s still not something that should ever face the aircrafts it does in it’s current state. even juste the R-27R’s and 4x R-73 would be a lot better, it’s a one trick pony currently and these missile would make it a little less of that.
How would two ER’s and two more R-73’s mean this aircraft should be above an F14B/IRAF br wise, that just makes no sense, these missiles are the only thing that can make this aircraft fun, anyway, back on topic
R-77s would make it 12.7 insantly.
ERs though… There isnt another SARH like them. The difference between something like Skyflash SuperTEMP or Aim-7M/P and the R-27ER is like the difference between R-23Rs and Aim-7M/Ps. Id consider the R-27ER closer in performance to a Fox-3 than any other Fox-1 ingame.
Its a huge performance jump. It would be insane to be in a 11.0, and have to try and defend against them.
R-27Rs are actually onpar with the performance of other SARH missiles and would actually be a reasonable option for the Su-39

Im thinking more like onpar in terms of performance with aircraft like the Harrier Gr7 at 12.3 or even nearly approaching the performance of the Sea Harrier FA2 at 13.0
With every new update, we have debates and discussions solely about vehicles, but I almost never see requests or suggestions to the developers about updating the game’s interface. Let’s start with something basic like the hangar. Without third-party mods, it’s unchangeable—a small thing, but we spend a lot of time there. Create a proper player card, not the awful one we have now. Allow players to customize their combat interface, letting them decide where information should be displayed. It seems like we don’t pay any attention to this on the forum at all.

Is it different from the other M24 models in game?
I really, really want it to have all the armaments it could ever carry.
In my opinion it is already over br and deserves better equipment for 11.7 but it is simply very clear Gaijin will actually just never change its armaments or anything of the sort.
The same way Yak-141 or Bison will never get any additional armaments, which I also lament.
For some reason Gaijin would appear deeply committed to every Soviet airframe after MiG-19 being nerfed into oblivion. Leaves a sour taste in one’s mouth if you happen to care at all about any of this equipment being portrayed realistically or as capable of being fun to use.

It will make them money until Dice stops trolling, which could possibly be next year. After that it’ll probably be a barely played gamemode like naval.
kinda hoping that infatry arent actually playable but more like armoured warfare where they are something that IFVs can deploy to help lock an area down
