unless they changed it a couple of hours before the closing of the dev server it is still incredibly unreliable so much so I would take a TV weapon over it
on the last day of dev server it stopped working as a whole
and there is also the fact that the ASM-2 didnt had an IR seeker for guidance but used the ARH from the ASM-1
yes they changed it
you were unable to fire them completly
so you pressed the launch button, and nothing happened
6051st!
In 95% sure that was the last dev update before closure.
There was no update on the 11th and the video was uploaded on the 10th after the update
That was the last patch, prior they can be fired just fine and the IR placeholder we still need a glimpse of how it works.
@gszabi99 sorry for ping
I want to ask about your assets list
Missiles like Kh-39(LMUR) or kh-69
Those assets can be found in sdk or we need to do something special to find them
Thank you
Absolute truth.

A report correcting a bug report that misunderstood the number of units and channels regarding the number of F-2 datalink channels was closed without any response.
I posted a comment asking for a reason why it was closed, but the bug report manager deleted my comment asking for a reason and then responded with a reason why it was closed. Is it a legitimate operational practice to delete a comment asking for a reason why it was closed?
To begin with, the number of MIRU units in the relevant document does not refer to the number of MIRU units on the F-2, and it was pointed out in the immediately preceding comment that MIRUs are not datalink managers. What exactly is going on with this?
I hope we’ll get the Swiss blog next week as I want to buy my C-3604 : (
Yeah, now that you mentioned it, I’ve never seen it in game.
when F18A gonna be made 12.7 its undertierd right now should not be lower than F16 ADF and MIG-29 Early
Last I remember, the ASM-2 was unfinished in that it was still guided by radar instead of IR, however it was usable against ground targets like tanks and pretty accurate too. However, I doubt that capability will remain unless Gaijin gives it on live
However, yes, I don’t think the F-2 is gimped in anyway. It’s a competent multi-role fighter and pretty much beats out all planes in dogfights except the eurocanards and even then only if those pilots are good enough to squeeze out more performance
It still doesn’t have an IR seeker, which is specifically what I was referring to.
I’m surprised, because it’s a good plane. Perhaps a little boring, with only two bombs.
What is needed is greater value for GBUs in ARB/ASB.
Outside of niche targets like naval targets in ASB or unless you have a large number of GPS guided GBUs for dealing with the battlefields, you are just usually better off running unguided bombs.
So perhaps adding “weakspots” to bases or a greater set of PvE objectives in ASB that require or at the very least, are much easier to deal with with GBUs, like SAM sites or HVT where you have to avoid colleteral damage Is the answer.
Even outside of aircraft like the F-117. there isnt much value to ever taking GBUs over unguided bombs on something like the Tornado or Jaguar in ARB/ASB
The ‘67th Armour regiment insigna’ shouldn’t be in the ‘Other’ section, but rather in the historical USA → Tank.
I don’t use the F-117 in ARB because I think it’s pointless. Maybe I should try it in ASB.
I was talking about GRB. In this mode, the plane is good for its rank.
