I was wondering, with the devs currently working on Arena APS, if there’s any possibility of Trophy HV, found on Merkava Mk4M and Namer Tsrikhon, getting fixed this update?
It has been in a non functioning state for several months already. Multiple bug reports have been made, multiple forum topics about it, but seemingly the ISR playerbase just isn’t numerous enough to ‘I have the same issue’ them to the TM/Devs attention.

Instead they hide it on the Russian website because they don’t want to be accused of being Russia fans by treating them normally.
People would be a lot less inclined to call out Russian favouritism (wether it’s true or not is a different debate) if Gaijin wasn’t making the new spaa attrociously bad compared to the Pantsir.
I think they lost a lot of good will during this dev server.
I think it more so has to do with an irl war currently going on which causes these types of news posts to not give very good pr.
We will see if that is the case after the usual month or so of bugfixes on the live server after the major drops.
This was inevitable.
Nobody sane was going to make the IRIS-T and all these other weapons systems into 40km NEZ death spheres.
Some people were always going to be upset when those weapons failed to live up to the fantastical standard set by brochure propaganda.
But we shall see how they end up performing.
I mean? its not just brochures its from public testing such as the swiss testing of CAMM, CAMM-ER and SLM (CAMM was a prototype at the time tbf) which proved these systems can hit targets up to 40km its not some fantasy stat made up to make the system look better
I don’t doubt this can be done in the most favourable weather conditions and against non-maneuvering targets.
I’m not saying Gaijin has modelled everything correctly, they seldom do.
But to some players, this creates the expectation of a 40km undodgable unflareable missile which has a better than 100% kill probability.

True, but there is a difference between that and giving it a 8-10km max effective range like on the dev server.
The Slamraam and especially the Spyder are in an even more sad state.
These things if they go live like this (good chance they will) would be nothing more than a waste of development recourses.
Yet the same brochure propaganda is fine for Russian vehicles for Gaijin.

Russian Bias is real, the data speaks for itself.
Even up to 20 km the Pantsir’s missile remains above mach 1, meanwhile the IRIS-T SLM? Almost HALF that.
I remind you all not to be too hasty. The weapons will most likely change between now and (presuming the patch drops on the 24th June) the 22nd July.
So get your bug reports ready but otherwise it’s not finalised.

The reports concerning that APS system are under investigation. But im afraid there is no ETA at the moment.
I don’t think bug fixes will be enough. SLM should get improved massively, Slamraam should have a newer AIM-120 so that it’s not tied to air launched C-5 nerfs and the Spyder should get Derby ER.
I don’t care how much they are gimped as long as they have a similar defensive capability as the Pantsir in terms of AA, after that move the Pantsir, SLM, Slamraam and Spyder up to 12.3 (the latter 3 only if they get massive buffs).
there better be another couple days of dev cause this stuff is NOT ready for live 😭😭🙏🙏🙏

Except that the Russian LDIRCM is overperforming even compared to the brochure XD
And the last sentence suggests that it will still be overperforming at live ))))))
and that’s a bad thing.
Don’t worry, WT major updates almost never come out on a Friday. If something breaks, who will fix it? Even devs want their weekend off. Mondays are also unlikely for the same reason, though not impossible.
Most likely release days are tuesday or wednesday
