Major Update "Leviathans" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Or, and hear me out on this…
Gaijin finally gets a grip on its own code an makes the techtree window scrollable from left to right…

It’s technical limitations that limit the lines to 5 apparently (I believe since it’s so old, I’m not sure if it can be increased).

Would like a misc line but here we are.

GL6 could also use some attentions, where it may get up to 60deg of elevation

Accepet the issue and choosing to turn a blind eye …What Gaijin meant by ‘‘NO BIAS’’???

Let Russian team continue to launch KH38 at safe, While other teams can only use the speed to slow SAM scam,
Yes this is Warthunder .

I don’t know Why is Gaijin so persistent in maintaining the position of CAS (notably KH38) that they use false data on new SAM

@joshje100 how much have they made now ?

It’s funny because there are Roblox games that achieve things that Gaijin can’t, such as horizontal and vertical scrolling on a menu of any type, not to mention, player count as well. They say comparison is the thief of joy, except in War Thunder the joy would be money in the devs pockets.

I took those into account by pricing them off the German multi pack. Same with the Swiss Hornet and MiG-29 Sniper so it’s still £648.83 for every premium or £728.88 if you add in the GE cost to buy the squadron vehicles right away.

I’ll be frank, people already don’t like grinding sub-trees when Gaijin has forced them to.

Adding more lines just guarantees people will be forced to grind the sub-trees, as Gaijin will up the next rank unlock requirement.

Mixed with the fact that the line sub-trees system gets a nation <10% of their tech.

So adding the ability to horizontally scroll does not improve sub-trees and, if anything actually makes some of its issues worse, unlike the sub-tree folders that gets rid of those issues.

So then I just need to wait for the event and for the update to drop for the hells on wheels pack and I will have a busted premium line up lol

almost as busted as the 7.0 US premium lineup

Yep it would also be the first update I’ve brought a ton of pre-orders too, the two packs and the Swiss plane if it is an pre-order

Which parts exactly do you mean?

I’d personally say that no matter how much experience a player has, there simply isn’t enough space for a full nation to be represented in the space leftover in a tree by another. This gets even worse with more subtrees.

Take for example India, look at the Indian tech tree suggestion, then try to figure out a way to get all of that somehow compressed into a tree that already holds Britain and South Africa, without making more of it limited to premium than would be the case with a regular nation.

That’s the issue that I have with subtrees, when looking at it on a nation-by-nation basis, these are treated worse than full trees, intentional or not. I want to fix those issues without taking away the positives that subtrees can bring.

I’m personally seriously considering getting the Hell on wheels and RAH-66 packs this update.

But yeah christmas/new year 2025 sale is going to be crazy expensive for me, because I also want the F-2A (ADTW), NF-5A, Leo 2A4NL (OTCo), In may 1945 and Echoes of Overlord packs.

I wouldn’t be opposed to more space per nation either. Even with separate national research trees I have no idea how Gaijin would fit something like this in their “5 line, 3 per rank” system.

There’s just no way…

If it wasn’t for the D-day event and packs I wouldn’t have gotten the Hells on wheels but I gotten the D-day US pack so at this point is was a no brainer to try and make the most largest premium line up possible lol.

The M4A3(76)W is just my favourite ww2 tank, so this pack is kind of a no brainer for me.

Lineup is a nice bonus, but I don’t think I can make a premium lineup that beats this one:
