Here’s a summary:
-someone said it will be most likely a premium
-I was surprised at the idea that they’d make the single non-copy-paste swiss plane a premium
-someone else replied “cause singular” (as in prototype or smth)
-i replied it had 13 (1 prototype and 12 production run)
It’s genuinely depressing just how bad Spyder is on dev.
It’s like someone took a Strela, made it five times as big, gave it three times a Tors deadzone, and slapped a skyscraper on its roof.
It has 8km effective range. 8km… The first 4km of which is a deadzone! At 12.0!!
Flashback to last December in a Q&A where they openly said the 10-12km AA’s we had ingame for years were obsolete, and here they are, adding a 12.0 AA with even less capability lol.
And the worst part is, it didn’t need to be bad. I-Derby ER exists. It could have gotten that. It could have had 18-20km effective range. It could have actually fought back against the stand-off CAS. But no. They’re hellbent on making it genuinely useless I guess.

There is currently an open bug report for the CMs on the NF-5A on the dev, but so far there havent been any replies. Community Bug Reporting System

In terms of gameplay that’s a pretty useless additon since the LANTRIN is perfectly adequate for all needs in game

Modern pods like the Sniper also have other uses. There is a reason they are put on F-15C’s even though they are primarily for ground attack

Hope its not a premium , ru just got the super rare T72b3m (aps) as a techtree i dont see why gaijin would premium the Z10me
They only mention real life if it’s benefits them but if it’s any other things from other nations it’s a big no no.
But yeah war thunder is a game a game is meant to be fun not a simulation

Is there any logical reason why SLM is allowed 40km IRIS-T’s, but Spyder isn’t allowed 40km I-Derby ER’s?
How does adding A2A modes to TGP (across all nations or almost all), improved TGP functionality and better TGP to US (when others have their modern counterparts) make the game not fun
because the slm cant even dream of actually reaching said 40km. the 40km is theoretical best case scenario, which doesnt exist in warthunder.
hell the current derby already goes farther than the slm as far as im aware
