“A member of the AKERON family and based on technologies developed for the AKERON MP missile, which entered service with the armed forces in 2017, the AKERON LP is a fifth-generation long-range multi-role missile. Lighter and with a minimum range of 8 kilometers, the AKERON LP is equipped with a tri-mode seeker and a secure data link allowing it to operate in autonomous “fire and forget” mode while keeping a man in the loop. The missile offers flexibility to the armed forces through its beyond-line-of-sight firing capability as well as the ability to modify the point of impact during flight. The AKERON LP optimizes the flight trajectory according to weather conditions and the firing environment. Finally, its multi-effect charge allows it to neutralize static or moving platforms in complex environments. It is as effective on infrastructure as it is on the armor of the latest generation tanks, confirming its multi-role character.”

The missile has been successfully tested on Tiger helicopters. Is it possible that this missile will be used in games in the future?

On multi vehicle AA’s :

If you take the launch vehicle to a cap / ammo box, can you rearm it?

If you take the radar vehicle to a cap / ammo box, can you get more launch vehicles?

or just replace the AIO with the battery version. im sure players would appreciate not having to go through another grind including stock upgrades

It depends on whether it would change the BR and it probably would.

also shouldnt get rid of an actual vehicle just because there is a different version of it when you could add both.

Some people may not like the multi-vehicle system and prefer AiO

Update this week ?

Well… Wont be today. So wont be this week :P

But its possible it might next Tuesday-Thursday, but it seemed like half the new stuff is broken and the other half isnt a huge amount better and they’ve done nearly nothing for older stuff. So I could see it being week after next

Personally I doubt they’ll release it during the dday event.

Has that ever stopped them before?

Im fairly certain we had multiple major updates that dropped in the middle of an event cycle

I think it has stopped them most of the time. Especially when they have a whole month of no event after the 17th to release the update.

Well it isn’t. Unless u are pulling some insane shots 2km is extremely consistent against anything that is not flying straight at you, maybe 2.5 for head on engagements.

@Smin1080p_WT Hey, could you please explain why Intracom Defense, the company which produces the IRIS-T SLM telemetry equipment, is called a third party source? It seems baffling to me that a tech mod can simply shut down a report with TWO primary sources like this.
I was pretty excited for the upcoming SAM systems but their current broken state is kinda sad and bug reports seem to be delibarety misunderstood.

It has now been more accurately marked as a duplicate, still a crazy situation.

I was doing some testing and attest with the default FB-10 you don’t need a seeker lock to launch the missile.

I was able to lock with the radar look 180° away and still launch it

It doesn’t track though, no turning what so ever. So it’s just the lock can be slaved to radar where ever but can’t actually lock or receive target info.

honestly its turning to a joke, i was so excited but gajin is pretty much continuing to cripple the SLM
with completly unrealistic specs.
Smattering down any report that would buff it.
But nerfing it with minsinterpreted sources that were reported maliciously
