Because the circumstances were different. The feature was “under testing”. We waited for a new major update so the feature could be finalized. I’m sure other planes were unstable when testing with the flightmodels too. They were fixed (like the Mig-29) and added into the game. So why can’t the same be done for these jets?

There was no indication in my answer to you that it was “under testing” for consideration for other aircraft like the F-14 and Tornado. I was very clear in the reasons why it was not being added to those aircraft and also that it was not currnetly planned for them:

Currently there are several aircraft (F-14, Tornado F.3 and some others) that have this feature IRL but do not currently in game. As unlike the other aircraft that already have it, it would lead to a far more unstable flight model with very little beneficial gain to gameplay.
So for the time being at least, its not planned for any aircraft outside of those that have it. Naturally this may change in the future.

Ahh i tought it had an HEAT warhead.
With an 11kg SPA-HE warhead this would struggle to kill MBT’s so I see no reason why it isn’t in the game already…

Are you able to answer the question on what the planned minimum fuel you can dump down to is then?

With it being limited to the F-111A, I am unable to even test it for myself on the dev server currently, but also interested in knowing what Gaijins plans for it are as whatever the F-111A is like may not be final

HMD was leaked along with the HUD and radar. That being said, if they don’t F-5C flares onto it I’m afraid it’ll likely be DoA.

Honestly if illumination flares would be better than nothing. I wouldnt even mind if they made them worse than regular flares. Having somethin is better than havin nothing :D

There is no limit currently. You can dump yourself down to 0 if you wish.

Any limit on what aircraft will and will not get fuel dumping? (like for example WW2 heavy fighters would benefit a lot from such fuel dumping set up)

and will a minimum be something reportable if good sources can be found for it?

Maybe if we’re lucky they’ll count those as BOL flares. Anything to avoid being damned to oblivion like the T-2/F-1 or F-4C.

For now its just the F-111A. This may be expanded upon in the future, but at the moment there is no more news to share on that.
