Major Update "Leviathans" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

I was sure Tornado did have this

Datamine shows that the F-2 just lost HMD if it did it is now DOA

Wait so it had JHMCS on the model but no HMD? Thats hilarious

The Tornado does have it, but what Smin is trying to spin up is that somehow the F-14 isn’t maneuverable enough to use it. The tornado is a bomber, so it’s obviously not as maneuverable as a dedicated dogfighter. That’s why I said that.

They only changed the pilot model from with HMD to without HMD. The plane never had one to begin with

Hey. If there was news, the report itself would generally be updated with a status update. Right now there is no news on it. At least, its not something planned for this major, thats for sure.

F-2 is an aircraft with AoA manoeuvring that is within the band intended to have the feature. Its currently considered a mistake it currently does not as it was not yet fully set up. Until a dev can respond to the matter and clarify.

Sadly it is many times worse, with little to no benefit on the Tornado and F-14. So for now, its not planned for them.

Fix Captor-M !

What about for stuff like the F-16’s or the JF-17? There’s been reports up for them since the AoA override was first added? The F-16’s even use the same system as the Typhoons, the Manual Pitch Override.

Im sorry that you are disappointed, but this is not a new answer. I have also personally answered you on this via a PM you sent some time ago. So im not sure why you are acting as though this is new information.

As per the PM on 24th April:

Currently there are several aircraft (F-14, Tornado F.3 and some others) that have this feature IRL but do not currently in game. As unlike the other aircraft that already have it, it would lead to a far more unstable flight model with very little beneficial gain to gameplay.
So for the time being at least, its not planned for any aircraft outside of those that have it. Naturally this may change in the future.

As we have already answered, its intended for the aircraft that have this feature currently. Its not classified as a bug or something reportable unless a developer has confirmed it as such. The F-2 report was accepted on this basis currently whilst the aircraft is being tuned.

is the Baz M radar change intended and backed by evidence? werent there reports made a little while ago to bring it on par with the other F-15C’s?

All of my F-2 hype sapped in one go is pretty wild tbh (I forgot its a Japanese aircraft in the Jap TT I suppose)

@Smin1080p_WT

Is a full devblog planned for the fuel dumping mechanic?

If not, do you know what the planned minimum fuel dump is?

Is it set to a per aircraft basis and accuarate to real-life? (such as the Harriers only being able to dump fuel from their wing tanks)

or is it going to all fuel or down to min fuel (30%)?

Because the circumstances were different. The feature was “under testing”. We waited for a new major update so the feature could be finalized. I’m sure other planes were unstable when testing with the flightmodels too. They were fixed (like the Mig-29) and added into the game. So why can’t the same be done for these jets?

Currently no. Its not something that requires a full blog to itself.

Specifically these which both have Tech Mods saying it’s supposed to be the PSP radar
