In my personal option I wouldn’t get it as you can put a talisman on the FCU and get better results, I can grind around 100K RP in ten matches with that thing.
You won’t get the research efficiency for the lower ranks
100k rp don’t help you if you lose 90% of it
Why would you grind lower ranks with the top end premium ?
But between rank 6 and 8 the FCU is the better choice

that range is not so important, the new SPAAs we are getting have a effective range of around 10km to high mobility planes. MICA NG is very similar to DERBY ER, so it will be fine.
meanwhile SAMP/T using ASTER will be too powerful, though it writes 30km range but it’s for high mobility targets, it’s a larger missile than current top even without the booster. (310kg in total)

I know how premiums work thank you, as I say just because it’s the top end premium doesn’t always mean better results tho. I’d rather save money here and there by talismaning the F-5 FCU if I’m between rank 6 to 8. If I’m at or below rank 5 then I shouldn’t actually be getting the F-2A

To be fair F-2A with SARH only at a lower BR does sound fun.
Also while there isn’t really top tier premium money’s worth of content now, that might change in the future considering there’s a conveniently subtree shaped hole in the tree.

Like the other guy alr said talismans are nice but not for a squadron vehicle in a tree where I am rank 1 just completed ger Rus and us now I think abt Israel or Japan but I get what u were saying

You make the assumption that everyone has the FCU, so if somebody doesn’t have the FCU would you tell him to buy the FCU for GE and then talisman it?
Because that would be more expensive than a top tier premium

You make yet another assumption and that is that Japan is this person’s first tech tree and if that would be the case he probably wouldn’t have the f5 anyways.
What about the players that have already achieved top tier and only want to grind out Japan?
Yeah just that better results should never really be a buying factor especially when buying like £65 for an aircraft, you props can get a rank 4 premium and talisman the FCU for much cheaper.
I recommend Japan.
Isreal isn’t worth to grind imo if you already have the US tech tree

Buying the FCU with ge is like 50$ worth of GE and then another 20 or 30$ for the talisman
M8 you maths is way off, the FCU is 3000GE to talisman in British pounds that’s 15 quid which translates to 21 US dollars. So with that and a rank 4 perhaps just touching $50 for both which is still 15 pounds cheaper.
So Idk where you got that $50 solely for the FCU
