I haven’t been able to play a world war event, so do you have to have the vehicles to use them?
Isn’t there a really heavily armored bit?
And I think chances of Granit hitting the radars is very low
Ehh… it would depend, you’d have 2 CIWS on each side anyway, and engagement range for them is pretty short all things considered, the ship would see them coming from something like 20km away (horizon from 30m up, idk how high the radar mast on the 1980 Iowa was), so there would be time to prime the CIWS, but even then they’d have at most 4 seconds of time to shoot down the target before impact (the phalanx fires automatically at less than 2km).
If it had some RIM-116 it would stand a much better chance.
And that missile weighs 7 tons, the kinetic energy of the missile probably does more damage than the warhead itself.
No, you get a Line-up from gaijin with a basic vehicle of each class. You do not need to have a single vehicle from that specific tech tree.
I don’t think it’s kinetic energy will do much to Iowas hull or turret armor. It’s not made to punch through armor like an AP shell which is what Iowa was made to take
There’s a lot of cabling in those structures, they’re not hard to spot if you’ve ever been on one. A large explosive from a heavy anti-ship missile wouldn’t have a hard time disabling Iowas radar I think. Iirc the US or Royal navies did a study post-war and concluded that Mizzou wouldn’t have taken much damage from the single Termit the Iraqis fired at her, but how much would 2 or 3 or 5 missiles do? Probably wouldn’t breach the citadel (from the sides at least) but the superstructure can be fairly easily written off, meaning her ability to return fire is reduced to the gun turrets’ manual control.
So is the model of the F 35 just in name rn or is there a viewable 3D model, as always I appreciate your work.
Even then, it would be like 3 406mm shells crashing into the ship, plus you know, a 1 ton warhead as well.
No it wouldn’t even be close. It would splatter and explode since it’s made of aluminum or some aircraft alloy afaik
leave a little dent
Ahh yes the UK is famous for its currently thriving automobile industry…
Brimstone dimensions; 1.8 x 0.18m
CAMM-ER dimensions; 4.2 x 0.19m
I’m sure you see the issue here.
On a less sarky note, you wouldn’t fit a CAMM launcher capable of CAMM, CAMM-ER and potentially CAMM-MR on gravehawk.
Would rather we bought a MAN or a Volvo basis than tried and failed and wasted money on making our own. I would like to see us involve JCB more though where possible, they’re the 3rd (formerly 1st :( ) largest heavy machinery manufacturer for a reason.
i dont see
I will enjoy saying I told you so to the people defending that abysmal IFV and waste of cash.
Its probably got a placeholder FM.
Nah. We’ll be able to fit a CAMM-MR into a classic mini
they changed how all APFDDS rounds behave
they did adjustments to the drag and weight of all the APFSDS rounds and the M829A1 actually got a buff

2 whole mm of pen extra.
The M829 is getting a serious nerf, but it’s not the top round anymore on any vehicle so it doesn’t really matter.
It’s not, it has stuff like MLC modeled differently then the F-16, and the raw figures on it are different.
I do have a bug report accepted on some stuff wrong with it, but it’s just stuff that would make it better. It’s current performance is very close to expected aside from compressing way way too much.
It does have like, 1 square meter of extra wing area then it should, but that’s not going to noticably make it much worse.
Actually scratch the ‘IFV’ part, I forgot 50% of the reason its so abysmal is that its not an IFV, they didn’t make an ifv variant…
Best you get is a shoddy APC with a .50 cal. Rather than a full on IFV with a 40mm turret and 7 dismounts
