Oh I agree the plan is solid. I just think that the GBU-39 warhead is too small to reliably work against highly mobile and small vehicles like the Type 81 and Slamraam. Seeing as these new spaa have the same TWS like radar as the TOR/Pantsir, they will always know when and where the GBU-39s are launched and thus will have ample time to relocate.
Although a bigger GPS guided bomb could very well do the trick.
Yeah… Ive been semi enjoying 11.7 line up and using the Tornado Gr1 again because if you get a downtier, you stand a chance and was a struggle but maybe managable in an uptier if lucky.
Now… Not a chance. Pretty much all CAS below 12.0/12.3 probably needs a BR drop or these new SPAA need to be at 13.0
US is already good as they have multiple planes with 500lb/2000lb gps guided bombs.
There are other nations in much more need.
That is true, but how much can they launch before the return missile comes. Seeing as it’s and F-15E/I it will have to start turning almost immediately after noticing the launch if it doesn’t want to headbutt a missile.
I just have yet to face a GBU-39 that I really struggled against, but maybe if I face someone in game that uses them well my opinion might change.
I think the meta is going to be to drop a bunch of Gbu-39s first then one or two Mavericks, very slim chance for any of the new sam systems to stop or dodge that, But then cas is going to have to waste all of its ordinance on spaa, which begs the question of why spawn cas in the future meta at all.
US made the thing, but had to wait for a while to only get it on the hornet
Not even done with US air or ground or helicopters or even naval now that they added the Iowas. I’ll play other countries stuff if it’s something I like.
What’s so bad about adding GPS+Laser bombs to the US specifically? It’s perfectly fine for everyone else but as soon as it’s US “oh no they don’t need it”
