I think thats gunna come down to how fast people are at swapping between vehicles and how well people are able to hide them.
If nothing else, I see a good few months whilst people master it where they will be perticularly vulnerable

I mean these new SPAA have god tier awareness when it comes to radar, so they shoudl absolutely be aware when GBU-39s are being launched at them. And seeing that all of these new SAMs are self guided (FnF) it means you can launch and instantly move to avoid GBU-39s.
It will however be very player dependent.
Yeah it will be…
But certainly time for some CAS buffs soon I hope. Going back to only 2 nations being allowed access to CAS would suck
I would much rather just nerf the remaining 2 so that everyone is mid at cas.
But I guess the best we can get is more Kh38MT buffs (the horizontal and vertical limits, I don’t care about it getting gnss).
Wiki also says Tejas is 3rd gen and mentions “F-16C block 60”
and because one of those nations use an EFT it will probably never get a buff because they would have to buff the german EFT as well :/
I found other stuff to back it up but there are also lots of conflicting sources
Perhaps. I just want to see CAS buffed for ASB. I dont really care about GRB anymore, especially with how they treat certain nations and their ground vehicles.
I want to do this:
to convoys in ASB, but alas, Im not allowed because of GRB.
Yeah, I have seen a few people make that argument already in my Brimstone 2 thread and unfortunately. most Typhoons that are played (especially in CAS) are German
Yeah, was mostly to remind anyone reading this that wikipedia is not a source at all
the amount of germany players I have seen cry when you suggest the idea of adding only MMV brimstone 1s to italy and the UK is so funny to me, its easy they just add the SPEAR-3 germany hasnt integrated them on their EFT and only the UK and Italy have purchased them
I genuinely think @morvran is right, these new SPAA outrange all the standoff equipment, its gonna be easier now to just drop GPS guided munitions and bail.
Or my other thought is come in fast as you can, sling multiple GBUs’ and then get out rapid
Ah yes the weapon system where you can get ammo racked with mg fire, missiles that have an odd attraction to tracks and barrels and a door knocker cannon, that’s some serious firepower…
Time for CBUs and just carpet bomb half the map from low alt :D
Maybe they can add GPS+IR AGM-130 or preferably stealth munitions like JSOW
Honestly it kind of remains to be seen, you can actually frontally dodge the SLM if going fast, it doesn’t have enough overload to hit you, so the strategy of just front siding a Pantsir and dodging will work against an SLM as well.
What? 10km ??? No
I mean, at this point realistically can we admit that we’ve went too far with modern systems?
look at the SPAA thats needed to counter the cas that was not needed.
For me personally it’s just tedious, how are the sub sonic attacks like the etendard, frogfoots etc gonna actually do anything if you have them in even an 11.0 uptier.
GRBs highest BR is still only 12 so if you get an uptier with an 11.0 platform against one of these SPAA you are fk’ed completely
Oh I agree the plan is solid. I just think that the GBU-39 warhead is too small to reliably work against highly mobile and small vehicles like the Type 81 and Slamraam. Seeing as these new spaa have the same TWS like radar as the TOR/Pantsir, they will always know when and where the GBU-39s are launched and thus will have ample time to relocate.
Although a bigger GPS guided bomb could very well do the trick.
effective range, or a non escape zone, over that, you can just f-pole it like facing ARH missiles in ARB
