Its not just about raw armour values, survivability is also dependent on layout and equipment placement.
The belt may be penned by a shell, but that shell’s damage will be somewhat negated by a good internal layout.

So its fine for the US to have both the best cas and BOL? If you cant see the irony idk what to say. As it stands the MLU 2 is irrelevant for CAS with BOL being its only upside. Its a fair trade for essentially having a far worse multirole than all other hornets.
Kh-38 still best CAS. and i dont see the problem with the US not getting screwed over with its own aircraft

Finland got screwed from having on par aircraft because gaijin wanted unique differences with the hornets so why is it a problem now? All im saying is BOL should be exclusive idc we got shafted before and this isnt any different
Yeah im tired from playing a gimped hornet, BOL wont make it a good 14.0 but its the best we have since Gripen NG isnt here, at least when i play the US i have actually good vehicles to choose from. The US tested with BOL, its not a consistent service item imo it shouldn’t get it.

US operationally used BOL on F-14 and F-15. its in US stockpiles and was evaluated on hornets
if swiss hornets get a bunch of stuff they never had there should be 0 issue with US F/A-18C getting BOL it really did have, at least once or a couple times

And its for gaijin to decide if they get it or not, its their choice. Just like it was to make the EFT’s different and the same with the MLU 2. Why do you think they didn’t give the MLU 2 any of the other weapons the other hornets can use. If gaijin made them all equal sure but for now thats not the case.

they can also make the US one unqiue by giving it the USN/USMC strike capabilities and USN BOL. wouldnt be OP so balance shouldnt be a problem.
Or they can make it unique by leaving it as is
and then the finnish one isnt uniqiue

That was what smin stated when the fins asked for HMD, even if it didn’t get CAS it simply removed the uniqueness from the US
