I know that IRL CATM-120B are slightly but Noticably Wider in Diameter than CATM-2000
I doubt that the Hot versions are much different in size and shape
if IRIS-T SLM is actually as much wider as it looks then that must be wider than an AMRAAM

I’m sure the diameter measuring is quite accurate, about 7 inch, perspective won’t influence diameter, so unless the model has a wrong scale.

SLS is 87kg, so it’s impossible for SLM being 90

Stated performance is 20km altitude and 40km range. Your amateur pixel counting cant change the performance via report.

i mean considering the size difference between the 2 and the fact that the left one is 87kg, it seems to be in the ballpark of 110-120kg.
So huh, same weight as a MICA basically, or a little bit more
Considering the missile came a bit before MICA and is optimized for ground launches, and considering said MICA in its 2020s variant (MICA NG) can reach 40km from the ground, i think the SLM range seems reasonable ?
Same goes for CAMM, the smallest one weights 99kg (a little lighter) and is said to reach “more than 25km”
