That seeker definitely needs to put in more work.
I cant say for th US since i dont know if they did any of the upgrades the titanium keel was only done for a fact by the fins and the Swiss. So it should still weigh less than the US on top of patria using smaller and lighter computers for the CAS when they were ripped out originally by the US.
I would think so really good maneuverability great IRCCM decent range. Doesn’t shit the bed as often as other missiles. It is in my opinion the best becuase it does everything amazing but nothing perfect. But like i said this is MY OPINION.
The swiss hornet had all CAS capabilities removed in real life they should technically be removed in the game.

The Magic 2s range is abyssmal, the IRCCM is easily defeated and the maneuverability is about on par with the R-73.
honestly, ever since they let the irccm kick in on the rail, ive found these two to be extremely hard to counter, both me firing them and having them fired at me. so long as theyre in the usual ranges where its already hard to flare them if they did get a successful lock in the first place

See ive heard that but ive also seen them conduct CAS tests i believe they just dont use CAS as its not a goal with their hornets so i can’t say yes or no
I suppose AIM-120C-3 & AIM-120C-4 stat card launch range same AIM-120A & AIM-120B/RB99 but overload 40G
EF-2000, F-2000 and Typhoon FGR.4 could received AIM-120C-5

My experience with the Magic 2 so far has been that they are very hit or miss when it comes to their IRCCM. However, even if my experience is just an outlier and the IRCCM is better than what my experience suggests, the Magic 2 still is worse than the R-73 and AIM-9M.

Are they planning to add the AIM-120C-5 to the JAS39C? It’s only got 4 x ARH missiles. Lowest number of ARH at 13.7. This would definitely be a prime candidate for an upgrade.

R-73, easily. AIM-9M is also better than the Magic 2 due to its range and the R-23T, R-24T and R-27T/ET get an honorable mention for being long range.
i guess it just comes down to how you play. if you like keeping some distance the 9m, aam3, etc will be better, if you dont mind shoving yourself into someones mouth the r73, magic, pl8 and stuff like that will be better
