So USMC terminated the CLAWS-programme in 2006, whilst the SLAMRAAM-programme was cancelled in 2011 by the USArmy. Would this specification change anything major? SLAMRAAM programme had perhaps the upgraded Sentinel?

Spoiler

I don’t know enough about the history of the SLAMRAAM programme, I just did a quick google search to find what the CLAWS system is and it came up with the SLAMRAAM.

The CLAWS designation could just be to specify the exact variant Gaijin is modelling, so they can tell people in the Forums and the Bug Reports that certain features won’t be added to the vehicle, because they weren’t present at that stage.

So did they actually nerf all the new SPAAs to be worse than the Pantsir?

Yes, and in fact, some are even worse than the VT1 carriers.
