Major Update “Leviathans” — DEV Server Changelog (16.06.2025) - dev server is closed

might be an interesting read

only reason why the aim 120c7 would have more range than c-5 would be due to an optimized lofting algorithm, otherwise it has the same kinematics of the c-5. It should just have a better seekerhead essentially in game.

But they could give the C7 the C5 upgrades that they havent yet given to the C5

They could do a lot of things

Yes, I get that, but it’s just all that hardware/software difference not translating into any other difference at all making me quesiton it a bit. Mainly alluding to the lofting profile (but guidance logic in general as well), which can be improved using new hardware/software.

There’s probably no good sources on these things anyway, so I can’t really fault Gaijin for not making it any different. It’s just that isn’t likely the exact same in real life.

The main differences IRL would be ECM resistance, more reliable fuzes and better/more reliable software

So in todays evening we get news post that servers will be offline in morning, and in this offline morning of Tuesday June 24 we get update, or what?
There are no way that round 3 dev continues right?:)

Highly likely IF the update is tomorrow. Otherwise some other day. But that’s usually how it works

They probably make a annoucment a day in advance for the servers which get shut down to update the server

That’s how it usually is indeed. Usually sometime in the evening

Yes

they could give it a few imortal carriers as airfeilds or something IDK maybe mixed in with some detructible ones

I don’t think having multiple carriers per team would be realistic, plus there is only a handful of carriers modelled in WT, so you would end up with multiple copies of the same carrier per team.
A downscaled version of the Falklands doesn’t really work for WTs sim mode anyways.

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to ping a second time but you wouldn’t have any knowledge if the suspension issues with the M4 in the Hell on Wheels pack will be fixed before the update drops? It’s a bug that has been present on the TT version for over 6 months withouth being addressed or even acknowledged. Would be good to know if it’ll be fixed to know if it’s worth pre-ordering the pack or not.

edit: One of the older bugreports about the issue (with the TT sherman) https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/U44I67P9tScu and mine https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/AnS2fpUAkkJl

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to bother you but just want to double check, are we actually getting a rank II as a pack and not as a GE premium?

I’m just curious as there are no packs that low outside the starter packs and those ancient retired packs like the T-34 prototype.

There is a good chance it became a TT vehicle after enough backslash and gszabi noted that it wasnt called a premium in the Devblog.

Good news

Fantastic news, any chance for the Harrier GR.7 too? Would be such a massive upgrade compared to TIALD
