There is more to the game and this update than two existing aircraft and a missile. Many things are avalable to test in this round of dev server and the changes are detailed in just a couple of posts above your own.

Can the developers give a small comment, why was it decided not to give HMS Vanguard HE shells? And can she get them in the future?
Reports are welcome as suggestions for any shells she may be missing.

There are number of game breaking bugs that have been in game for a long time now and they still havent been fixed. From the CR2s micro ready rack to the Harriers supernova heat signature.
Forgive me for hoping that Gaijin might actually fix at least one or two of said issues this major. Instead, it looks like nothing got fixed. They still havent even finished the SHar HUD that they started last major. Its barely half finished borderline unusable at the moment

Can only test the C. And nope, looks like its only coming to the F-111A this major. Seems like a colossal waste of dev time adding it to a single aircraft

The new SPAA’s were still extremely WiP last dev. The new AA interface was nowhere near complete either.
It was very evident a lot more work had to be done on those.

There’s little real and realistic tactical advantage in the scope of the game anyway…
But iirc it was never stated that this feature will be restricted to that aircraft only, only that this is the first aircraft that receives this feature, no?
Perhaps, but even things like the Aim-120C5s on aircraft seem to have gotten 0 dev work beyond making them nearly worse than the Aim-120B.
Just would have been nice to see them fix at least 1 major bug report.

Like I said, they’ve done a lot of bug reports on the AA’s.
Don’t get me wrong, would love to see some old bugs get addressed (Trophy still doesn’t function at all - no idea why they can’t just copy functioning code from the new T-72’s Arena).
But this second dev was very needed just to fix all the broken stuff on new vehicles from first dev.

Anything that can VTOL would hugely benefit from fuel dumping as it allows them to get down to VTOL weight to VTOL land. Both in SB and the newly added carriers in RB, that would be a huge thing to have gotten. (and come to think of it, anything trying to carrier land would probably benefit from being lighter, I think even trap aircraft dump on approach )
Just a shame that they appear to have focused on adding full VFXs for a single aircraft, rather than rolling out the mechanic to all and then adding the VFX piecemeal to aircraft. Id have no issue with the F-111A being the only one with a visual effect, but the only one with the mechanic itself is pretty crazy.
And if they are adding it as and when they model the VFX, then some aircraft could be waiting months or maybe years for this mechanic, just like many are with external fuel tanks.
Suffice to say, I have a lot of concerns about this new mechanic’s implementation

Appreciate the dev server being back. I have a question though @Smin1080p_WT : any future plans to replace the top tier AI-controlled airfield SPAAs with these new multi-vehicle SAM systems? Would love not to get whacked as soon as I spawn on the runway.
I appreciate any response.
