Major Update “Leviathans” — DEV Server Changelog (16.06.2025) - dev server is closed

I can imagine F-16s being easy to land on carriers, but realistically you wouldn’t be able to take off again in most non-naval planes

I’ve done carrier landings in the Jaguars and T-2 as well, but you know there are bound to be people out there trying to land Starfighters, Eagles and Tornados on the carriers.

Gonna be especially funny if Gaijin remembers to disable re-arming and repairing on carriers for non-naval planes.

The default is usually you just airspawn above the carrier if you arent in a carrier capable aircraft.

I know, they have airspawns as a failsafe/emergency option in a lot of different scenarios as well. A lot of the larger prop bombers get (or at least used to get) airspawned after landing on the smaller airfields and iirc hydroplanes get airspawned after re-arming near carriers

The ultimate flex is landing the F-104 on a carrier

Makes me wonder, why didn’t they build a carrier with ZELL launchers for F-104 operations? 🤔

Tornado is smaller than f-14

Im now imagining something like USS Iowa with those instead of turrets :D

The Tornado doesn’t have a catapult attachment, unlike the F-14

The F-14 also has much larger wings and more powerful engines, even when accounting for the general size and weight difference

you know that there are 2 other vtol fighters in develoopment in germany

Yup and it’s a real shame they didn’t enter full production

I have a question about the transfer of ships. I was always amused by how the developer transfers vechicles back and forth, forgetting that people hang talismans on it. At the same time, everyone is SILENT as if this is how it should be, I have not noticed any exclamations about this anywhere. That is, you buy a talisman in the hope of pumping up vechicles of a certain rank, the developer transfers this equipment without giving any compensation, wonderful, simply wonderful.

What are you talking about?

I think. He had a ship at a specific rank (like Rank V) and now its moved to down to Rank IV and so now has research effeceincy negatives if used to research rank VI stuff

The only vehicles going down in rank are the M551 (tank) and the Phong Kong T-34 (SPAA) tho

A lot of ships are moving as part of the decompression

Ahhh, aight, haven’t seen that yet

Wrong place to complain about that then lol

Yeah, probably, but I think he does actually have a valid point. If a vehicle moves rank, it should loose the talisman and instead you get a token that can be used on any vehicle of the original rank or below (So if it was a rank V ship and moved to rank IV. You should get a rank V token that you can be used on anything between Rank I to V)

Way too complicated, just refund the GE for the Talisman, like they do when modules get removed

Yeah, or that

Or just get rid of research effeciency entirely

Can’t get rid of research efficiency, as that would make premiums less appealing
