Thrust vectoring is very similar to nozzle adjustment with VOTL aircraft, so it’s possible there is some overlap. Or it may be some elements of the instructor attempting to correct the aircraft perhaps. It will need some further investigation.
So should I bug report it? As it is something I’d have to do in the morning.
I have yet to find it to display in any of the MFD settings. Mostly useless for sim, which sucks. If it was useful in Sim, I would get back into it.
Because it then sets the expectation that it will come. Many will consider it “missing” and still treat it as a bug so long as their are open reports, even when they are suggestions. It’s then reports that must sit their open when it’s currently not something under consideration. So it’s for now not something reportable.
I see.
So if the issue is reported again later, maybe around next major, it can be passed on then?
It will only be accepted if the Devs state it’s possible to submit reports on such things. It’s not just a case of the next major.
Pity. There’s so much that is just not practically useable in Sim because of such restraints. Just look at the lack of any information for CCRP bombing for too many aircraft, like the whole F-4 and F-111 family…
I find that any information that is displayed in those tactical overlays in AB and RB should also be shown in the corresponding instruments if authentic. And if not authentic, it also should have no place in the overlays of AB and RB.
I was gunna have a go at playing the Typhoon without any game UI, but too much is missing in the cockpit for it to ever be viable to do. Like the radar mode is displayed on the buttons around the MFD not on the MFD but Gaijin refuses to model that
I feel you, brother.
I understand WT isn’t DCS where each and every knob and light is working, but I would really hope more work is done on those cockpits. So many non functional instruments and functions…
I’m sure it will happen in the near future.
After all we got working Russian RWRs recently. After who knows how long.
(I have no faith in this happening any time soon if this is unclear)
Yeah, and its not even only advanced stuff. Like I think there is no air speed indicator in the F-4s (or at least the FGR2) which I always found insane. These very very basic things, just… missed.
and it would be “okay” if the UI was highly configurable, so you could have the absolute miniumum, but nope. Barely any options. Its 2025, how any game still has poor UI configuration is insane to me. First thing I do with most games these days is install mods to change the UI (or outright remove it)
Well, we can kind of excuse the British ones lacking an air speed indicator. From my understanding, pommies aren’t used to getting anywhere fast, it’d be stressful for them to see >15km/h.
Hi Smin.
Is there any News on missing centerline Payload on JAS39C?
Its been more than year since its reported, i believe it shouldnt be hard to implement it and increase JAS39’s CAS effectiveness.
I personally think the CBR lacks a bit of information/clarity that would prevent people from misunderstanding historical reports, but reports, simple suggestions.
Things have gotten remarkably better recently with some tags being modified/standardized, but it’s still not perfect to make them clear to players that don’t really know how CBR and internal processes work.
Nothing to report for the current major.
@Smin1080p_WT Just a question, is the J11B radar finite, as in it will carry its present stats into real server or is it still under work, cause I am a bit discontent about the 60 degree azimuth search, especially in BVR context.
Is there anything on the naval damage mechanics?
Kinda feel like us naval players are in limbo about what gaijin is planning for it.
We’re never gonna get it. They don’t want us to have it, so they aren’t going to bother doing anything about it.
I dont understand why is it so hard to implement single hardpoint.
IDK either, most things like this end up forgotten after new planes are added. Gaijin does have a limited capacity, and however small it is it takes significant effort to review evidence and capability. But I totally agree with this, if they can add unrealistic load outs for other aircraft, it should only be more reasonable to add sth to Gripen.
