… okay. I’m not a jet pilot but I’ve seen a lot of jet simmers ask for this.
This sounds awesome.
Do we have any specifics that can be shared and potentially tested?
As an addition, can “Test Flight” have a few commands/operations added that manually inflict damage to an aircraft?
Adequate testing of flight models, after all, requires inclusion of damage models. How does the plane’s stall/spin conditions change with damage to lift surfaces? How does damage to the tailplane affect stability? What’s the extent of missing wing that the rudder can counter-act through intentional slip?
These are a bit hard to inspect in test flight, but would be an amazing boon even for normal self-improvement in the main game to practice landing and flying damaged aircraft in full-real control modes.
Will French naval aircraft receive the option of having a carrier spawn in the test flight ? A number of them are currently missing that option in the current game version.
Is something missing from the Naval Fleet section ? There 's no German Coastal listed there.
Why are we still linking the turret basket and drive? The turret ring is independent of tthe basket, damage to the basket wouldn’t effect the vehicles ability to aim. Maybe this is the case on some vehicles (unlikely) but the Abrams and Leo2, really?
if you gonna nerf the horizontal drive for some tanks, make it for all, or dont even start it. (im not even mentioning the vertical driver on abrams that isnt even on the patch notes)
abrams already have a massive issue with the hydraulic pump (that is in the wrong place) and now this basket?
if i remember correctly, this forum voted for “NO” for stun mechanics, so why abrams is getting a stun mechanic? or you can do anything if you lose engine + horizontal/vertical aim?
It’s been almost a year since I made my report, and over 3 years since XM8 was added without it’s panels. Spookston made the original report over 3 years ago
This is really bad, it’s a critical survivability feature. The only reason why people aren’t screaming from the rooftops is due to it’s status as a rare event vehicle.
