The big problem with the Begleit is that if it receives APFSDS and goes up to range, its I-TOW will be completely useless. It’s a vehicle with different types of weapons, so balancing is more difficult.
I mean, even if receive APFSDS, the shell should maintain current penetration levels, so that your BR does not increase to levels where I-TOW will be useless.

Unknown, they’re just skin files. They may not even make it, as seen for example in the case of previous F-4F KWS-LV, F-15C or F-16AM-15 skins.
The begleitpanzer is still a lot of fun in higher tiers. I take it to top tier regularly and dont have any issues with the I-TOW.

However, that was never a problem. Ammunition is used as a balancing factor (as long as the vehicle has the capacity to use it).
I mean, TAM never used any German APFSDS, they were always from IMI or SK (only a few times) and this does not prevents the DM63 or DM33 from firing.
Begleit is already too OP at its BR. It doesn’t need any buff.

The 40mm APFSDS deals a lot less damage than the 57mm AP (which has almost the same pen) of the Begleit and both the 57mm APHE (which is close to the later 40mm APFSDS) and APFSDS (which is leagues better than the later 40mm APFSDS) of the 2S38.
I-TOW can work, but it’s not as reliable. I prefer APFSDS; its ballistic properties are much better than full-caliber shells, while maintaining the same penetration levels.
