Doesn’t help western nations want to forget that country too lol
J10C is much more clearly, at least it was export to other nations, but J10B only appearing few times
If there is so little info on the J-10B, why would the J-10C, which is an upgraded J-10B, be any more likely?
Yes, however a lot of the specifics are still unknown.
It’s been exported.
It was exported as I said, and Gaijin just limited its load-outs, as EF2000. I don’t think that FM is better than EF2000 or Rafale.
Well, how much more is known about the J-10C than about the J-10B?
I don’t the specifics, but I’d assuming radar, avionics, weapons, and engine would be the big ones.
I mean, I’m looking at Wikipedia right now, because I don’t know where else to look, and they just say “AESA radar”, their listed source also just says “AESA radar” and nothing else
Though weapons are listed, PL-10 (which would likely be skipped for now in WT) and PL-15
I was more referring to weapons capabilities than what it could carry.
Getting the feeling the Chinese tree will have to make do with whatever Taiwan and Pakistan will be able to offer for now, if info on the Chinese stuff is so hard to come by lol
Is it known what radar their Su-30MKKs (or MK2/3s) carry? Did they ever get those Su-35s they ordered?
J-10C -
AESA radar and completely new avionics
WS-10B engine with figures of 140-144KN of afterburning thrust
PL-10 + PL-15 firing capability
DSI intake
More hardpoints
Su-30MKKs carried a variant of the N001 Mech, it’s bad.
Now that J-11B gets A2G ordnance Su-30MKK isn’t appealing at all.
CN did get Su-35 though the differences between it and Su-35S in Russian service isn’t known too much.
If I had to guess, if both Russia and China get it, they might most likely get both the same armaments, as the same happened to other aircraft iirc, but that is just my guess in the end
J-10B most likely
Probably there are other nations. Considering Gaijin’s attitude, I don’t think Pakistan will be the subtree, it will be the premium vehicle supplier. Neither Taiwan nor Pakistan will be able to provide enough vehicles for the subtree.
I’ve read that they did at least have plans to swap the radar on their MKKs for a better one. I guess that either never happened or it just isn’t known what radar they went with…
Apparently, CN requested the Su-35 to be fitted with some Chinese subsystems.
CN acquired RVV-SD (Export R-77-1) for it as well.
Gaijin is forced to either compromise on what it considers evidence for vehicle modeling or make guesstimates going ahead, if they want to continue developing China.
If gaijin refuses to provide KH38 for Chinese SU35, that will be pretty good evidence for proving Gaijin’s bias HAHAHA
