considering Smin said that a top tier cas plane is planned for germany but not this patch I would say it is very likely the next 2 updates.
Question is if more swiss vehicles get added at the same time (e.g. F-5, early hunter although latter was just a name and not a model)

Yeah, that’s what I meant by vague statements. You get an idea of what it’ll do but nowhere near specific enough for addition

With how they implemented the Finnish Hornet, I wouldn’t be so sure about the CAS loadouts on a Swiss one.

Do we already have the 5th generation in our game?
The German mains are gonna lose their shit if the Swiss Hornet comes without CAS, as it should

Yep, pretty much the only real reason to add it, would be for a heavy mutli-role with FnF weapons. Without that, its just a downgrade to the Typhoon :D

F15EX-II got supermanuverbility or near supermanuverbility supposedly so idk and yes its a 4.5 FM wise its a F15E no cft and turns better due to weight reduction

Heavy as in the aircraft being heavy or heavy as in with a big payload?
Because neither really fit the Hornet. It’s CAS loadout is really light, let alone the multirole loadout.

Heavy when compared to the Typhoon at least and i’ve heard its a bit of a chonker with its max AAM loadout.
But yeah, its probably not all that heavy in a CAS/Multirole fit

I would agree but I cant think of another top tier cas plane which germany could get. Tornado maybe? But germany really doesnt have an upgrade in air to ground armarment there. I doubt it is an eurofighter with more cas weapons.

F-4F KWS LA is also a thing, but it would only be top tier in ground battles lol

IIRC this plane could only carry 2 guided bombs aswell like all german F-4Fs.
Edit.: 2 Mavericks only

During the 1980s, the decision was made by the German Defense Ministry to pursue a new fighter program alongside the British and Italians. This new fighter was planned to enter service in the late 1990s and would culminate as the Eurofighter Typhoon. In the meantime however, something was needed until this new fighter could reach its full operational capability. To that end, the Defense Ministry began investigating the possibility of introducing an upgrade to the existing …
2x AGM-65D or G, but yeah, Germany mostly used their Tornados for A2G otherwise
yeah but that isnt top tier either. It would be 10.3 in Ground RB (like the normal F-4F)

or, probably more likely in a conflict with the soviet union. Focusing on defending the airfields whilst the RAF went in and bombed ground targets

It wouldn’t be that low in GRB, it gets AIM-9L(I)s so it has to be at a higher BR even if it “only” gets AGM-65D/G over the F-4Fs AGM-65Bs
Germany was more heavily artillery focus (more or less since prussia) and after ww2 germany was reluctant to have bombers because they are mostly used agressively
