Ah yes a 10x amraam loadout on a platform that is incredibly mid at best/borderline mediocre at worst at BVR and that makes you bad in dogfights (the Hornets one strength lmao).
Taking 10 Amraams on a Hornet is like playing a football game but shooting yourself in the foot right before a game, no matter what position you play that gunshot wound will hold you back.
Patch 10! Give it up for patch 10!

You can always just shoot off a couple of them on the way in and then enter the dogfight
At least on the dev it wasn’t all that heavy with the 10x aim120 but it may change

So worst case you will be stuck with 6 amraams still until you get within 16km, the loss of flight performance meaning you are already in a worse position than somrthing like an EFT/Rafale/F-15E.
EDIT: not saying the Hornet is bad, but running it with 6 amraams is probably a lot smarter than running it with 10.

It was a while ago. It should have come earlier. I think personally that they might now be waiting to add it with some other F-16 variants with AESA/PESA radars like the F-16I Sufa or the F-16E/V/Block 70.
But we can try the F-2 through custom models though. We got a user made F-2 before an official F-2.
For most of the dev it also was one of the few planes with AOA button which helped it up close (possibly compensating for all those leftover amraams), but it has to share that advantage with a lot more aircraft now.

I preferred not using the button because it was very unstable I would out dogfight things without it just like the Rafale

I literally don’t get this argument??? If were talking about advanced Stealth and if it’s to be a mechanic that is an advantage…they shoot first and from Optimal Fox 3 parameters and you just get to listen to your RWR without being able to send a Fox 3 back at them because you can’t see them…so much for our Fox 3 buss aircraft XD
This is why I hate top tier because there so many thing to do and to keep an eye on

This is LITERALLY why I love top tire :) crazy mechanics that if you understand you can use to CRUSH your opponents ;) even if you’re flying the inferior jet!
Sorry but my Autistic brain can’t keep up lol, just give me an reliable IR missile with good rewards and I’m a happy bunny. It’s one of the reasons why I love the FCU.

Just hoping the next air reward isn’t a top tier jet so I can milk the event with the FCU but also grind Japanese top tier at the same time but it doesn’t really matter what the reward is just hoping it’s not something French or Soviet again lol
