ADATS is extremely weak and only really usable vs helis.
But its more the lack of any competitive high tier IFV/Light tank that has the biggest impact. Our “best” IFV is the Desert Warrior which is probably the weakest 10.0/10.3 IFV in the game by quite a margin.

Again, the Pantsir should be nerfed in any case and I cannot fathom how this hasn’t happened in the 2 years that this thing has been in the game.
Stuff like the F-16 and MiG-29 would be mostly doing CAP, as the CAS potential of their sub 13.0 variants is very limited compared to the current top end CAS

Israel is irrelvant, yes its the highest they have, but should be compared with things like the Stormer HVM or Rapier and not the ADATS. They just need a new top tier
Type 81 is useless vs helis but massively outperforms the ADATS against fixed wing threats.
I’ve played the Mk.4 Merkavas before the first reload buff. So I know about playing bad tanks.
Doesn’t change my original point though. CAS currently is mostly a crutch, some nation players willingly use said crutch to get easy kills while other nation players have to rely on it more to win games.
You have to see the threats for that to work and the adats can at least do that

The adats is overall better then the type 81 c. Yes even fixed wing it does better because it can see the fixed wing before a type 81 c can often enough
Not that it has the range or missile performance to do anything about whatever it might see with its radad if you are brave enough to annouce to any CAS that there is a free kill available by turning on the radar

No I do agree with you on this issue don’t get me wrong, I just think that top tier air can be expanded further at the same time better SPAAs are added to the game.

The dumb thing was them introducing the F-14A without counterparts, not the introduction of more modern aircraft in general.
It’s literally my most played vehicle. What people always fail to see is that the MiG-23MLD dominated for a year before the F-14A, but that seemingly isn’t an issue. The Flogger was added without counter parts too, were you playing during this era? It’s just that it was time for another nation to have the top aircraft.
The F-14A didn’t even last for a year before better aircrafts were added.
