@Smin1080p_WT Can we get any news on weather the AGM-84E will be coming to the game on the F/A-18Cs?
With the recent addition of PL-8B to dev server, only two missiles are left before 5th gen IIR missiles. These are RVV-MD and Python 4, which one will be added first to the game?

isnt the RVV-MD not a gen5? its an export R74 which in of itself is an upgraded R73M which we only have R73 in game
Developers have commented about adding this missile into the game so I’m guessing it’s not too far, and to my understanding no Russian missiles have IIR seeker but if we’re gonna consider a Russian IR missile of 5th generation, that would be R-74M2 but I’m not too well versed in Russian missiles.
R-74M2 should have, though there is some problem in producing IIR seeker.
The R-74M, also. From what I know, the M is an AIM-9X bl 1 counterpart, and the M2 is a bl 2 counterpart.
AIM-9X would have better seeker.

13 of what is effectively the same aircraft vs various different genuinely distinct aircraft.
Most of those F-15s literally are not meaningfully different from one another. The ones that are? go ahead, add them I’m all for it. But if it’s minor changes? no, it’s not the same as asking for a genuinely unique airframe in your tree. even if it’s in another tree.
Edit: Also to grab this particular argument by the horns again. I abhor the argument of “this nation doesnt NEED ‘X’ vehicle”
Because if we limited vehicle additions to what was necessary only, we’d stop adding vehicles. America and Sweden didn’t need the F/A-18C, it adds nothing to either tree of value for their BRs. as an example.

I mean you could technically argue that it does add some form of missile bus to Sweden, as it can carry 10 amraams compared to the 6 max of the Gripen.
Now at the same time the 18C is really bad at fulfilling the role of missile bus so that kind of counteracts the above mentioned point at the same time.
Yet, you would be a fool to think the Swiss, Canadian and OZ F18s arent coming at some point.
Gaijin have a finite ammount of things they can add and these will be used be in some form.

Gripens only carry 4 amraams
I am genuinely surpised they didnt bang an AESA Radar on the Gripen and increase the Pylons and powerplants call it the E.
We know the Gripen E depends on ECM and it has incredible sensor fusion but none of that is modelled.

is it meaningless? sure, i never said they were meaningful. lmao. infact i did outline that if modelled correctly, hornet wont even do much when it cant even reach mach 1 with engines that dont even produce more than 20k lbf each.
but a certain nation main likes to constantly ask for 2 extra nations on top of 1 already given to them and 1 promised to them, whats next? might as well ask for the entire world to be in that nation tree lol
