the BG demands an F-15C Golden Eagle as the closest counterpart (hell, the Su-30SM shoudlve been accompanied by an F-15SA but thats a different issue)

I think that the Hornets should have appeared in the attacker tree, after the AV-8B+, reflecting the aircraft’s intended role as the Low-cost aircraft in the navy’s planned high-low mix.

Given Grecale is both not the lead ship and in her significantly-refitted post-war state, hopefully we’ll see another Maestrale in a WWII refit down the road.

at least the strike eagle has speed. hornet has nothing

Makes me question that premise, at least in a 1v1 fight the F-18 looks like a UFO.

Also, 60CMs is a placeholder iirc

It might, it might not. we’ll have to wait and see, same with the EFT radars. But at this exact moment in time on the dev server.

The EFT couldnt track the Mig-15s in the test flight on its medium TWS scan mode and was struggling on its narrow mode. Its somehow back to what it was like on launch

EFT has speed, CM, FM advantage on the hornet. and hornet should really be 13.7, so out of all the 14.0 it has it the worst

I mean we have a bunch of F-15Cs and Gripens at 13.7, which should be plenty of counters for the 18C(late).

Flight model still feels wip though. I feel like it accelerates quicker than it should below mach. Feels close to the F-15A/C which I doubt is correct.

Of course I have no sources, only that it feels off.
