It should be protected against older APFSDS, the main armor packages are NERA similar to what is used by MBTs, although it won’t nearly be as thick. Protection figures should be similar to that of base ZTZ96 or slightly worse.

As far as I know, there is no evidence that the Su-30SM can carry the KH-38, and gaijin made another mistake.

The ERA is FY-5 (250 KE protection ingame), though underneath the ERA there is either another layer of it or add-on composite armor, probably NERA.
Then underneath that is the RHA backing plate
All in all this should equate to stopping 3BM42 level projectile equivalent.

I was DUNKING on people with it! turning the G limiter off to pull crazy AoA and fire 73s and 77s NO PROBLEM! You sure he was playing the Su-30SM? Was the Pilot Ace??? did he have all the Mods for the jet???

I did tests, the SAS mode remains superior for performing spectacular maneuvers compared to the AOA limit mode
It’s 33-35 ton depending on armor configuration
So like do we get actually fixed RWR that can pick up fox3 launched at me in the next update or will that again be a joke, 9 out of 10 fox3 launched at me dont fucking get picked up by RWR lol
