Ive made my mates in su27s furious that they couldn’t win fights while in a harrier. made one uninstall after going 10-0 in the FA2. they are good but after two turns unless you get vtol to work and they bleed out of speed trying to get guns on you they have been useless

great for 1 v 1, but in 16v16 im lucky to scoot 1 kill in matches even when you dont die. you just sit back watching everything
im looking forward to the GR.3, FRS.1 and T.10 (and ofc to keep outskilling in the AV8B(NA))

gr1 and gr3 are best played completley different as there isn’t any (good) radar missiles to kill you. send it up high and dive on people is basically free
the shar variants are stuck in mpathing but at least they will hold up in their domain now

Pre MLU 1, the model in the dev is from 1994 and the oldest of the F-18C models in game classed as Late models while the US model is from 2006. MLU 1 is being skipped to allow for the US to be the only nation with a hirnet at 14.0 with HMD. MLU 2 will likely IF no new missiles come, will be 14.3 because of BOL. Its essentially the same as the model in game with the US but upgraded to use 9X and uses Saab 500 as standard issue as devs have stated its not standard issue on US F/A-18/C
As far as gaijin is concerned MLU 1 will not be added to the TT and more than likely being held on until it can be added as a premium.

Depends on gaijin. Right now we could be looking at gaijin refuses BOL on US hornets so that the MLU 2 is actually unique considering they got the HMD for the current 14.0

thats even worse tbh. hugley better survivability for hugley better awarness and ability to employ AMRAAM effectively. ideal would be MLU 2 .3 below US AESA hornet (.7 if decompression), both with BOL
Unlikely, gaijin would be more likely to make them the same br because Finnish tax lmao. I don’t think they keep BOL from US vehicles but given the bug reports for them it seems that trial tests with them are not sufficient to add them to the US especially when the US players are using Finnish Sources for the MLU 2 to try and pad out their bug report.
F-15 have used it in service. i dont see it ingame

In service current info for the US hornets is not service based. Rather tests. Which is why i think they won’t add BOL for the time is so they can use their logic of sufficient differences. Smin deletes my posts when i bring it up but in the past 1 missiles is apparently the sufficient changes he talks about that warrants 400k rp sink but maybe thats just a swedish thing.

So im inclined to say maybe gaijin is artificially holding the hornets back so that the Finnish MLU 2 is actually decent (unlikely since the current 1994 model.is at 14.0 same BR as the 2006 lmao.)

AESA radar is a big enough difference imo. could also have different TGP maybe? and cockpit would differ.
idk if Finland has LJDAM but if not, that too, as well as GBU-53 and AGM-154C
MLU has the same radar as the 1994, no changes so again idk why you’re bringing up the US hornet.

No, if you read you would’ve known im.using Smins own words when comparing the Gripens. The A model vs the C on launch was 1 missile.
The Finnish F-18C vs MLU 2 will likely just be BOL and A2G while being 14.3 or 14.7 with US F-18E or F-18C+ at the same BR. This is more than likely how it will go.
