No F-2 would suck, it’s been delayed so much already that all but the latest service variant would be sub 13.7 candidates, so it’s really about time.
But at the same time it would suck for F-2, the most hyped aircraft the entire Japanese has to offer, to be released in the shadow of the Super Hornet. It is an aircraft that deserves at least a full on teaser feature, if not a J-10A like named update, especially after being teased and delayed over andover again for two whole years…
Somehow I feel like Gaijin won’t meet the expectations they set up.

Kinda sad they immediately added the F18E alongside the legacy hornets. Essentially killed any hype i had for the C tbh.

The raw values of the MICA-EM ARH missile is superior compared to the AIM-120B,
Comparing the vehicle itself to the Eurofighter-2000 there are less to no complains about missing stuff such radar values and it was one of the three first airplanes to get to battle rating 14.0,
I can’t get into the technical values, I’m not a air battles player.
Honestly, I would like to see the F/A-18A implemented as a squadron vehicle and the F-14A late as a premium instead.
It is quite ridiculous for one of the iconic aircraft of the Navy and Marines went to under the paywall, the F-14A late is the most suitable for the rank 8 premium since it is basically F-14B with TF-30.

With thicker roof armor plating, Konrakt-1 (?) ERA on the LFP, 360º turretRelikt coverage, and the hull sides’ Relikt ERA encased in metallic boxes that extend all the way to the back of the tank’s sides.

I can see why it kills hype, but to be fair both the 18C and 18E are only hyped for their iconicness anyway. Performance wise both of these aircraft were never going to be anything special.
Maybe if they added the F/A-18s before the F-15s it could have been different.

Eh maybe it was cause i was hoping for a somewhat decent aircraft for Finland but this basically means the C is even more than DOA to me. I have my stuff ready on the US for the E so im curious how different they will perform in a clean dogfight. So far its.not looking great for getting a decent aircraft for China or Sweden this patch. (Thats if Finland gets anything this patch lmao)
On other news an uparmored Kwk for Germany will be a fine addition to my collection so I’ve got something im looking forward to.

Wouldn’t be surprising if the Finnish one was around 12.7 due to the lack of A2G.
Though that doesn’t stop gaijin an Early and an ahistorical Late variant with A2G as a way to fill that line up.
As remember we got the Thai Alpha jet with a cannon that was never used on them in Thai service
Stormer is good.
But the object of a SAM is to shoot down threats before they have got off their weapons.
It cant relaibly engage missiles and bombs
Its IRST system can be notched…and loses track.
You cannot use the system without locking the missiles are far too twitchy (excluding a hovering heli)
It cannot deal with close range threats.
I do still enjoy it.
I think both could have been fun if top tier wasn’t compressed as all hell. But sadly it is, so both will just be fighting (and getting clubbed by) EFT/Rafale/F-15E&I/Su-30SM(if it comes this update) 24/7
Eh from everything I keep reading the 18C should still have the upper hand in clean dogfights over the 18E.
Again i have no interest in a F18C which with how compressed everything is means ill basically only be fighting vehicles that are better than me in every fight. Believe it or not it essentially means i have no interest in it when i could just play the US have be clubbing worse F18’s every match because 13.7 only plays 14.0 lol, yeah thats again if Finland gets an F18, for now im more interested in F18E and if the F18A will be a premium or not. Would make for a solid 13.0

T-90M 2023 can house the T-90MS 2025 in a folder.
After that I suppose we can see the T-90M 2025 with Arena.
I think you’ll still be on the receiving end of a lot of clubbing. When vehicles like this release you usually see a lot of people with meta vehicles queueing.
So if the 18A+ or 18C becomes a premium around 13.0-13.7 and the US gets the 18E gets released, you can bet that there will be a lot of Rafales, F-15Is, EFTs (especially if it gets fixes to it’s radar) and maybe even F-15Es in queue to have some fun and club around a little bit.
So again i get to have fun for what like a week? Not really that great of a time frame before its made entirely redundant

Hmmm, I son’t know… I just think export vehicles should only ever be added when there are no good native options- and, in Russia’s case, I feel like there are enough of these not to require export models.

It is a native vehicle. They even use their own export vehicles regularly.
If the 18A+ or 18C becomes a premium? I don’t think you want to be anywhere near top tier US teams for a couple weeks if you want to keep your sanity.
I think only players from a few nations will have fun at top tier air this update, and neither US or Sweden is among those nation.
